Mob Studios revealed that a film titled ''Agent Derp'' was in early development as part of its plans to expand the Minecraft Universe beyond the projects announced for "Chapter One: The Broken Seed". The studio did not confirm whether the film would be included in the first chapter or released as part of a later group of projects.<ref name="AgentDerpDevelopment" />

The title previously belonged to the 2021 film ''Agent Derp'', which starred [[Scott Menville]] as Derp and formed part of the Minecraft Cinematic Universe. That continuity was discontinued after the release of ''[[World of X – Part One]]'' (2025) and the cancellation of its planned sequel, ''World of X – Part Two''.
