Defending champion [[Theo Bartlett]] returned as the top seed, aiming to cement his growing legacy, but suffered a shock defeat in the quarter-finals. The tournament also marked the first time a player hit a nine-darter under the new format, with [[Tyler Brooks]] achieving the feat in his 27–22 win over [[Niklas Stein]].

Brooks went on to win the championship, defeating [[Rico Tanaka]] 36–28 in a commanding final performance. Tanaka, a Japanese qualifier and surprise semi-finalist the previous year, became the first Asian player to reach a World Championship final in IDF history. The tournament was praised for its high standards, long-match drama, and the continued success of the new format.
