The 2072 IDF World Championship was a professional darts tournament organized by the [[International Darts Federation (IDF)]], held at the historic [[Alexandra Palace]] in [[London]] from 14–17 January 2072. It was the 50th edition of the championship and featured 16 of the world’s top players, all of whom qualified through the [[IDF Order of Merit]].

Logan White entered the tournament as the defending champion, having secured his third world title in 2071. However, Ethan Steel, determined to reclaim his throne, delivered a masterclass in scoring power and consistency. Steel produced two nine-dart finishes and secured his 20th world title by defeating Alex Brow 6–3 in the final, solidifying his legacy as the greatest darts player of all time.
