The 2025 South Australian Darts Association Winter Grand Finals is an upcoming match set to conclude the 2025 SADA Winter Season for Divisions A, B, and C. All three Grand Final matches are set to be played at Croydon Bowling Club in Adelaide on December 1, 2025.

Background[edit | edit source]

During the Summer 2025 season of the South Australian Darts Association (SADA), the Paradise Knights returned to competition in the Premier A division and completed the campaign unbeaten, recording fifteen consecutive victories without a loss or draw. Their performance established the Knights as the leading contenders for the subsequent Winter 2025 season, in which they entered as early favourites for the Premier A premiership. In Premier B, the defending champions Usual Suspects were also regarded as strong favourites following their dominant showing in the Summer season.

The Winter 2025 season introduced a newly established Premier C division, expanding the league’s structure. The MOA Dingoes quickly emerged as the standout team in the competition, securing consistent wins across each week and establishing themselves at the top of the standings. Madhouse, formerly known as the Dartaroos in Premier B during the Summer 2025 season, also demonstrated significant improvement, winning five match nights and positioning themselves as challengers in the new division.

Finals series[edit | edit source]

The finals for the 2025 South Australian Darts Association Winter Season will determine the premiers for each of the three divisions. The top four sides from Premier A, Premier B, and Premier C at the conclusion of the League Stage of the season will qualify for their respective finals series. All matches are scheduled to be played at the Croydon Bowling Club in Adelaide on 1 December 2025.

Format[edit | edit source]

Each division will follow a four–team finals structure:

  • Semi-final 1: 1st vs 2nd
  • Semi-final 2: 3rd vs 4th
  • Elimination Final (Preliminary Final): Loser SF1 vs Winner SF2
  • Grand Final: Winner SF1 vs winner of the Preliminary Final

This format rewards the top two sides on the ladder with a “double chance,” while the lower two qualifiers must win consecutive matches to reach the grand final.

Premier A finals[edit | edit source]

At the halfway point of the Winter 2025 season, the Parafield Bulls Hitters sit atop the Premier A ladder with six wins from eight matches and a commanding leg difference of +67. Their strong scoring power and consistency make them near certainties to qualify for the finals. Close behind are the Bin Chickens and Paradise Knights, with both sides recording five wins and holding double-digit points totals. The Knights in particular boast a healthy leg difference of +30, which could prove decisive in the event of a tie for positions.

The Suvners, currently fourth, maintain a two-point buffer over Toon Squad and appear well placed to secure a top-four finish if they can maintain their form. However, Toon Squad remain within striking distance on eight points and could displace Suvners should results go their way. Outside of the finals positions, Cobras Gold and the Outsiders face a difficult task with only six and five points respectively, while Cobras Black are winless and effectively out of contention. With six rounds remaining, the battle for the fourth spot is expected to be closely contested, while the top three sides already appear to have one foot in the finals.

Premier B[edit | edit source]

The Dart Vaders have been the standout side of the Premier B season to date, winning all eight of their matches and boasting a commanding leg difference of +56. With a perfect record and the highest peg tally in the division, they have already secured a finals berth and are strong contenders for the premiership. The Usual Suspects sit in second place on 10 points, with five wins and a solid positive differential, leaving them well positioned to progress.

The race for the remaining finals spots remains competitive. The Blackhawks, in third place with nine points, hold a narrow advantage over the chasing pack thanks to a strong scoring record and positive differential. The Hornets, currently fourth on six points, occupy the last finals position but face pressure from below, with the Black Knights just one point adrift. The Rebels, with only a single win, sit on two points and are effectively eliminated from contention. With six rounds still to play, the battle for the third and fourth qualifying spots appears set to be closely fought, while the Dart Vaders’ dominance has already set them apart from the rest of the field.

Premier C[edit | edit source]

The MOA Dingoes lead the Premier C standings after eight rounds with six wins and a single draw, giving them 13 points and the best leg differential in the division. Their consistency has placed them in a strong position to claim the minor premiership and secure a top-four place with several rounds to spare. Close behind are Madhouse, who have carried over their improvement from previous seasons to register five wins and a draw, keeping them firmly in contention for a high seeding in the finals.

The DartsHolics occupy third position on nine points and remain well placed to progress, while the Lion Kings, currently fourth with seven points, are clinging to the last qualifying spot. The Loonies, just one point back, remain within striking distance despite a negative leg difference, and could displace the Lions with improved results in the coming weeks. The Hustlers, however, sit bottom with only one win and appear all but eliminated from finals contention. With the top two sides clear, the primary battle is shaping between the Lion Kings and Loonies for the final place in the top four.
