Rather than depicting a traditional continuation of the Flash mantle, the series was described as focusing on the emergence of a distinct identity, emphasizing uncontrolled speed, unfinished power, and character-driven storytelling. An accompanying series wiki was planned to be updated alongside each episode, providing narrative expansions and behind-the-scenes worldbuilding during the season’s release.[5]

In December 2025, Freddie Goodwin announced that his series, based on the 2011 video game Minecraft, would conclude with its fifth season.[6]
