The Craftinverse is an American media franchise and shared universe that is centered on various interconnected short videos, series, and shorts that are based in the Minecraft world and follows the stories first seen in Squared Media, which premieres on YouTube, starting in 2022 and building upon multiple animated stories.
Development
In December 2023, Goodwin announced that a shared universe set in the Minecraft world was being planned and would feature yearly installments. He announced five series that are in various stages of development, the five series being Agent Derp, scheduled for 2025, Minecraft Season 3, scheduled for 2026, Detective Derp, scheduled for 2027, Minecraft Season 4, scheduled for 2028, and The Nightingale, scheduled for 2029.
