Career

Work on ShooterofIO and envisioning a film-universe

In 2005, Goodwin worked with multiple teams of game developers to make a first-person shooter video game and released ShooterofIO 1: Modern Ops (2007). Due to the success of the game, Goodwin worked with Air Studios and had them develop their own games every two years, while SOI Studios did so in the years Air Studios did not release a game. By 2011, War Games joined the development cycle and formed the three-year development cycle for the ShooterofIO franchise.

During the same time, Goodwin began the very early stages of planning the Mob Cinematic Universe and its first film Deadpool (2024). In June 2010, Goodwin planned to only make films about Deadpool, though changed his mind in July that year to make a Cinematic Universe, during the time the Marvel Cinematic Universe was just getting started.

Goodwin produces the series with the team and made multiple episodes alongside Case.
