It features The Authorities Season Two and maybe Season Three, and maybe more.

Season 2

Season 2 will adapt storylines from DC Comics with characters that are in the series. The villain of the season is Kingpin.

• Budget increased from $44,000,000 to $120,000,000 (same episode count).
• This season will focus on Steve, Derp, and Alex. Other characters will have minor roles within the entire season.
• The main villain will be Kingpin who has a big villainous cult in Diamond Hill and is hellbent on killing Steve.

Two years after gaining powers and defeating Jack, Steve, now calling himself "Superman," continues to protect Diamond Hill Village despite Alex's concerns. Meanwhile, Alex leads "Diamond Planet," a platform documenting local superheroes. The Good Justice Society (GJS), with Derp's help, investigates the dark force released earlier. In the shadows, an evil gang led by Kingpin emerges, plotting to exploit the "Dark Dimension" to eliminate Superman and dominate the village. Superman confronts a powerful entity, only for it to be mysteriously killed by another masked entity, later identified by Derp as "metahumans." Unbeknownst to many, Kingpin collaborates with the masked entity in a sewer hideout, planning to harness the powers of other metahumans to transform himself into a mutant.

Twelve years earlier, Steve adopted the alias "Stonecutter" with his sister Alex, who was also his confidant. In the present, Alex's article attracts Lex Luthor's interest, who seeks to acquire her company, but she refuses, provoking his ire. Steve confides in Derp, revealing his true last name, Johnson, inspiring Derp's global quest to encounter powerful beings. In New York, Derp meets Dean Lowe, grieving his brother Jack's death caused by a superhero mishap. Derp's return brings this news to Steve. Concurrently, Nathan Reed reunites with Steve, choosing to relinquish his powers to join Alex's company. Meanwhile, a mysterious entity raids a tech company, stealing a potent battery and leaving casualties. Kingpin's experiments, attempting to combine his blood with that of a deceased metahuman, fail. The Good Justice Society alerts Derp that the "Dark Force" they face is actually the Dark Dimension, threatening imminent catastrophe.

In New York, Steve, utilizing his powers, collaborates with Derp and the Good Justice Society to investigate a murder linked to a cult-affiliated high-profile criminal. Gaining the local police's trust, they delve deeper into the case. Meanwhile, Alex uncovers evidence of Kingpin's rising control and warns Steve and Derp. During the investigation, Steve is ambushed by "Guia," an entity with the ability to manipulate and mimic soundwaves, who defeats Steve and flees. In a separate development, Kingpin discovers that dark matter, not metahuman blood, is the key to acquiring powers. Alex, revealing her true identity as Steve's younger sister Johnson, leaves Nathan, who chooses to renounce his powers, perplexed. Concurrently, Steve encounters Peter Parker and becomes aware of his secret identity as Spider-Man.

Peter Parker confides in Steve his goal to protect him, revealing Steve's newfound unbreakable skin. During a confrontation with a metahuman, Steve is temporarily stripped of his powers, leading Peter to advise him on the importance of doing good with or without superpowers. Heeding this advice, Steve joins the police force, assisting in a murder investigation linked to a cult suspected of connections with Kingpin. Tragically, a key witness is killed during questioning. Regaining his powers, Steve confronts the assailant, unmasking him as Kingpin, who declares his ambition to dominate the city and reclaim his lost fame. Peter intervenes, battling and ultimately securing Kingpin's arrest. Over dinner, Peter discloses his plan to return home with MJ, marking his departure. Concurrently, Derp experiences a revelatory vision, uncovering his true identity as John Jones, which leads him to question the reality of his life.

Kingpin, having escaped his cell, seizes dark matter from storage, endowing himself with powers and flees. Flashbacks reveal a young John, nicknamed "Derp" by his GJS superiors for his clumsy yet ultimately successful methods, recalling his early days at GJS and a failed mission to procure dark matter. He reminisces about meeting Jon Smiles, who started at GJS the same day. In the present, Kingpin, flaunting his new powers, overpowers Derp and eludes capture. Kingpin's ambitious plan surfaces: constructing a machine to endow everyone in town with powers, believing it unjust for only a few to possess them. Meanwhile, Derp reunites with John, facing stage 4 terminal liver cancer and limited time, who requests Derp's companionship in his final months, a plea Derp accepts. Steve encounters Sam Wilson, the DOD leader, who urges prioritizing Diamond Hill above all, an expectation Steve rejects, leading to his departure. Concurrently, Alex discovers Kingpin's escape and his newfound abilities.

Kingpin's ventures into the Dark Dimension are abruptly halted by Guia, who reveals himself as Mister Negative. During this confrontation, Mister Negative activates a portal but falls under the sway of an enigmatic figure. The Dark Dimension's corruptive influence strips Kingpin of his powers, driving him to seek Alex's assistance to escape perceived threats. Alex agrees to help, but only if Kingpin surrenders. Steve arrives at this juncture, leading to Kingpin's arrest. Concurrently, Derp investigates Martin Li, a suspect in a murder case, but lacks concrete evidence. This leads Steve, Alex, and Derp to collaborate in pursuit of Mister Negative. Their investigation commences with an interrogation of Mayor Wilson, hoping to uncover further leads.

Guia and Kingpin travel through the Dark Dimension for the hunt for additional Dark Matter to allow them to create more powered people to sell them off for money. Meanwhile, Alex meets up with a judge in New York and learns of Kingpin's previous actions against Spider-Man. Steve continues to train to control his powers more. He later meets Noah Mad, who heard about Steve's battle against metahumans. The latter reveals he is from Central City and plans to take some Dark Matter to gain powers of his own. Steve makes a deal with him and agrees to give him Dark Matter if he helps him defeat Kingpin and Guia. The villains find Dark Matter and leave the Dark Dimension and shuts the portal. Steve confronts them and destroys the Dark Matter they have, but is defeated by Guia.

Bart uses his speed to stop crime around the city, though is attacked by a meta-human with similar powers but with green lightning, and mysteriously disappears. While investigating, Bart and Nora begin to investigate and learn about the Negative Speed Force's corruption from Spectre energy. Bart is confronted by Wells, who reveals his visions of getting powers. Max Mad a meta with vision based powers, reveals the meta to be a speedster known as "Inertia". The villain appears in Central City and vows to kill Impulse.
