At the beginning of the event, Brow played Lane and won 3 sets to 1 set. He averaged 50.02. In the second round, Brow played Jackson, and defeated him 3–0 in sets. This was officially the first time in the event that whitewashing him for the first time. Brow won and offiically moved on to the quarter-finals and had to play [[Jack Mercer]]. He was the number two seed in the event and reached the semi-finals, without dropping too many sets.
