The first season of the Australian-American superhero series Silverman premiered on September 14, 2029, on HBO Max and consists of ten episodes. A spin-off of School Warrior, the series follows Noah Mad as he attempts to rebuild his life after the fallout of the Velocity crises. Combining StarkTech augmentation, unstable alchemical energy, and Noah’s fractured history, the season explores his evolution into the vigilante known as Silverman while exposing a new wave of black-market meta-technology spreading through Midvale City.
Created by Sara Case, the series exists within the broader Warriorverse continuity, with recurring appearances from characters introduced in School Warrior, including Miles Porter, Emily Styles, and Tony Stark. Production began in November 2028 and concluded in July 2029.
Silverman received positive reviews for its tone, performances, grounded pacing, and expansion of the Warriorverse outside of speedster-focused storytelling.

| A volatile prototype reactor at the Stark Institute erupts and fuses to Noah Mad, Tony Stark’s final protégé, transforming him into a living chrome-metal weapon just as the Phantom Collective storms the facility to seize the M-Core that now lives inside him. Forced into a fight he never wanted, Noah learns the suit adapts to protect him, absorbing EMPs, shifting shape, and responding to emotion, while Vaul — a tech warlord with gravity-distortion gear — reveals he once tried to steal the reactor from Stark years ago and now intends to weaponize Noah as “property.” As Midvale shakes under Vaul’s collapsing gravity sinkhole, Noah stops running from Stark’s legacy and unleashes the suit’s full evolution, becoming a streamlined, stabilized Silverman long enough to defeat Vaul and contain the implosion before the Institute is destroyed. Exhausted and shaken, Noah accepts he isn’t Stark’s replacement but the next step in the legacy Stark feared the world wasn’t ready for, while Vaul crawls back to the Phantom Collective and bows before the Overseer — an ancient, code-forged shadow who wanted Noah to survive so his “reclamation” will be worth taking. | ||||||

Production
Development
HBO Max announced Silverman in June 2028 following the strong reception to Noah Mad’s expanded role in School Warrior season four. Sara Case was attached as showrunner, with Mob Productions and SOI Studios returning as primary production partners. Case described the show as a “grounded, tech-noir corner of the Warriorverse.”
Filming began in November 2028 in Adelaide and Midvale City sets, concluding in July 2029.
Writing
The writers’ room emphasized Noah’s traumatic history, guilt, Stark-era ties, and the fusion of moral, technological, and alchemical forces. The season was structured around a ten-episode serialized arc focusing on Noah’s rise as Silverman and the emergence of black-market meta-tech across the city.
Release
The season premiered September 14, 2029, airing weekly through November 16, 2029.
