The Craftinverse (CVU) is an American media franchise and shared universe based on the video game Minecraft and Squared Media publications. It was created by Freddie Goodwin, Wilma Zimmerman, and Jackson Greene, now in charge of Mob Productions as a trio team. The universe uses all the lore from the video game

Background

Minecraft series

The universe began in 2022 with the first season of Minecraft. At the time, Goodwin stated that he had plans to tell a "grounded story" with the villainous gang known as the "Legion of Herobrine".

Development

In December 2023, Goodwin announced that a shared universe set in the Minecraft world was being planned and would feature yearly installments. He announced five series that are in various stages of development, the five series being Agent Derp, scheduled for 2025, Minecraft Season 3, scheduled for 2026, Detective Derp, scheduled for 2027, Minecraft Season 4, scheduled for 2028, and The Nightingale, scheduled for 2029.
