The 2026 IDF Grand Slam of Darts is an upcoming professional darts tournament organised by the International Darts Federation (IDF). It is scheduled to take place from 14 to 22 November 2026 at the Aldersley Leisure Village in Wolverhampton, England.

The tournament will feature 32 players divided into eight groups of four, with the top two players from each group progressing to the knockout stage.

Logan White is the defending champion, having defeated Alex Brow 16–13 in the 2025 final.

The final eight places were confirmed following the conclusion of the Grand Slam qualifier, completing the 32-player field. The group-stage draw was subsequently held, with the eight seeded players each placed into separate groups.

Background

Format

The tournament will begin with eight groups of four players.

Each player will play every other player in their group once. The top two players from each group will advance to the second round, while the bottom two will be eliminated.

Group positions will be determined by:

  1. Number of match wins
  2. Leg difference
  3. Legs won
  4. Head-to-head result
  5. Tournament average, if required

All group-stage matches will be played over the best of nine legs.

The knockout stage will be played as follows:

  • Group stage: best of 9 legs
  • Second round: best of 19 legs
  • Quarter-finals: best of 31 legs
  • Semi-finals: best of 31 legs
  • Final: best of 31 legs

The group stage will therefore be first to five legs, the second round first to 10, and all matches from the quarter-finals onwards first to 16.

The knockout bracket will be predetermined, with the group winners facing runners-up from neighbouring groups.

The second-round pairings will be:

  • Winner Group A v Runner-up Group B
  • Winner Group B v Runner-up Group A
  • Winner Group C v Runner-up Group D
  • Winner Group D v Runner-up Group C
  • Winner Group E v Runner-up Group F
  • Winner Group F v Runner-up Group E
  • Winner Group G v Runner-up Group H
  • Winner Group H v Runner-up Group G

The total prize fund will be £800,000, with £175,000 awarded to the champion.

Qualification

The tournament features 32 players qualifying through several routes across the 2026 IDF season.

Automatic places were awarded to leading performers from major IDF tournaments, with additional places determined through the IDF Order of Merit and ProTour performances.

The final eight places were awarded through the IDF Grand Slam qualifier.

Where a player had qualified through more than one route, the vacant position passed to the next eligible player under the relevant qualification criteria.

The eight highest-ranked qualified players on the IDF Order of Merit were designated as seeds.

White defeated Brow 16–13 in the 2025 final to claim the title. The pair subsequently met in another major final at the 2026 IDF European Championship, where White again defeated Brow, winning 16–14.

White was placed in Group B alongside Bram De Waal, Nathan Owens and Lukas Weber.

Brow, the top seed, was drawn into Group A alongside Hunter Jackson, Noah Parker and Daniel McKenna.

World Grand Prix champion Storm was placed in Group E with Rhys Morgan, Cole Hamilton and Oliver Bartlett. The tournament will be Storm's second event since returning from the wrist injury that affected his campaign at the European Championship.
