ShooterofIO: Iron Front is an upcoming first-person shooter game developed by War Games and Supreme Studios and published by Mob Productions. It is a main installment in the ShooterofIO series and is set during World War II.[1][2]

Gameplay

ShooterofIO: Iron Front will be a first-person shooter game set during World War II.[1]

Development and release

ShooterofIO: Iron Front was announced by Mob Productions on March 10, 2021, with War Games confirmed as the game's developer.[1] The announcement confirmed the title, World War II setting, and a planned integration with the free-to-play game ShooterofIO: Wargrounds 2.0 during post-launch.[3] Platforms, release date, modes, and detailed gameplay features were not announced at the time.[1]

The game followed earlier reports that a War Games-led ShooterofIO project had been moved from 2020 to 2021 during the development of ShooterofIO: Dark Warfare 5.[4] Those reports stated that the 2020 project had been delayed after creative disagreements involving War Games and Supreme Studios, after which Air Studios took control of the 2020 release that became Dark Warfare 5.[4] On March 17, 2021, Mob Productions announced that Supreme Studios was also developing Iron Front alongside War Games.[2]
