| Null summons an army of mobs and unleashes them to destroy Hypixel server, leading to Alex and Derp to devise a plan to stop him. Steve learns that he is at the start of time and must somehow return to the present. During their mission to save Hypixel, Alex and Derp manage to get into contact with the GJS and asks for backup. Null summons Warewolf and Reaper to hunt down the two remaining heroes and sends them away. The Hypixel lobby is destroyed. Steve manages to teleport to the Hypixel lobby, but is knocked unconscious by the villains. While dragging Steve to the boss entity, Alex scares them away and saves Steve. Derp comes up with a plan and has a dream of a guy next to a gate, but when it opens, fish fall out of it. In the end, the entity is revealed to be Herobrine. | |||||

| Multiple years following the death of Herobrine, Steve and Alex has continued to protect the world they live in. Derp has continued to work at a restored Good Justice Society (GJS) and now works with his friend Buddy. The duo discover a secret worldwide organization who plans to use the Nether dimesnion for their own good. Steve and Alex run out of materials when expanding on their home, so they travel to a nearby cave, but encounter Warewolf, who escaped Herobrine's wrath but is detained by Steve. The latter hands him over to the GJS and Derp reveals his findings to Steve. They travel to the Nether dimension to find a singler individual who goes by the name "Max". | |||||

Steve decides to go with Derp and investigate elsewhere. Simon and Alex meet up with Aurora Skye / Celestia, Lucas Stone / Titan, and Nathan Reed / Hydron, who all want to save the world from danger. Aurora reveals she wants to avenge her fallen brother who died due to Herobrine's attack. A "deceased" soldier from 1927 attacks the team and reveals it was being "controlled" by a powerful entity who wants to wipe superheroes from existence. Steve and Derp arrives and kills the deceased soldier, but the entire crew are attacked by Serena Blackwood / Mystica, who plans to lead her own group, but needs the current one eliminated. Alex tries to convince her to stop and work with them but Serena flees. | |||||

Alex asks her to join her and the former reveals the worker's dorment powers. Simon confronts Serena and fails to convince her to join his team. He returns to the group to learn Derp has found key details regarding the soldier from a day prior. Flashbacks reveal a grave yard's worth of graves coming to life with corpses, with a figure resembling Steve overseeing the situation. | |||||

| The figure is revealed to be Herobrine, who returned from the place of "vanished" also called "The Gap", he orders the corpses to destroy Diamond Hill City and bring him the soul of Steve, the one who killed him. Simon raids a scammer base and stops their operations; whilst stealing their stash of Dark Matter, a substance that can create metahumans. Aurora, Lucas, and Nathan are attacked by the zombies, who become stronger after each hit and use "glitch" based powers to defend themselves. Steve and Alex appears which causes them to chase a fleeing Steve. Alex, Derp, and Isabella work together to kill the zombies. Afterwards, Isabella experiences a vision of pain. Meanwhile, Simon learns that Diamond Hill City still needs protecting. Steve begins experiencing visions of Herobrine again and tells Alex they must destroy the Nether dimension. | |||||
