The Fine Print is an upcoming American psychological thriller film written and directed by Jordan Peele. The film stars Daniel Kaluuya, Teyonah Parris, Jesse Plemons, LaKeith Stanfield, and Riley Keough. Produced by Monkeypaw Productions and distributed by Universal Pictures, the film marks Peele's fourth directorial feature following Nope (2022).
The story follows a charismatic legal consultant who uncovers a sinister conspiracy buried deep within the corporate contracts he’s hired to dissect. As he delves deeper, reality fractures and he is forced to confront the psychological cost of truth, greed, and power.
The Fine Print is scheduled to be released theatrically in the United States on November 14, 2025.
Premise
When a brilliant contract analyst is recruited by a powerful tech conglomerate to review the fine print of their global expansion deals, he discovers disturbing legal clauses that imply something far more dangerous than standard corporate malpractice. As he attempts to expose the truth, he's drawn into a spiraling maze of hallucinations, hidden agendas, and psychological warfare.

Production
Development
Universal Pictures officially announced the film in June 2024 as part of its ongoing partnership with Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions. Peele described the film as a “paranoid legal nightmare” inspired by classic conspiracy thrillers like The Parallax View and Michael Clayton.
Casting
Daniel Kaluuya, a frequent collaborator with Peele, was the first actor attached to the project in July 2024. Parris, Plemons, Stanfield, and Keough joined the cast between August and October 2024.
Filming
Principal photography began in December 2024 in Toronto, with additional scenes shot in New York City. Cinematography was handled by Hoyte van Hoytema, marking his first collaboration with Peele.
Post-production
As of June 2025, the film is in post-production, with Michael Abels composing the score.
Release
The Fine Print is scheduled to premiere in select international festivals in late October 2025, before a wide theatrical release in the United States on November 14, 2025.
Marketing
A brief teaser trailer was released on May 13, 2025, generating buzz for its cryptic tone and layered visuals. A full-length trailer is expected to debut in late August. Early promotional material features redacted documents, corporate logos, and surreal imagery to hint at the film’s themes of secrecy and control.
