Iron Man is the first season of the Warriorverse television series based on the Marvel Comics character Tony Stark / Iron Man, created by Jackson Greene for HBO Max. The season premiered on March 12, 2026, and concluded on August 20, 2026, consisting of 23 episodes. The series follows Tony Stark after the Malibu Incident as he rebuilds StarkTech, uncovers rising armored and metahuman threats, and becomes increasingly entwined with the events unfolding in Midvale City.

Premise

Production
Development
In mid-2025, HBO Max ordered Iron Man as a Warriorverse spinoff with a 23-episode first season. Jackson Greene was named showrunner. Robert Downey Jr. signed on to reprise Tony Stark with expanded creative involvement.
Writing
The series uses a traditional serialized structure similar to early 2010s superhero television series. The season centers on the evolution of StarkTech, new armored adversaries, and Tony’s emotional arc in a world increasingly shaped by metahuman conflict.
Filming
Principal photography occurred from July 2025 to March 2026 across Malibu, Vancouver, and Sydney soundstages.
