Omega Troops is a free-to-play strategy role-playing video game developed and published by Mob Productions. It was released worldwide for Android and iOS on 24 April 2026. The game centers on collecting and upgrading playable units known as Troops, which are used in turn-based battles, competitive modes, limited-time events, and seasonal progression systems.
The game launched with its first live-service cycle, Season 01, which introduced Troop Pass Season 01 and a rotating schedule of progression, competitive, and resource-based events. Omega Troops features a rarity-based collection system, with Troops divided into Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary classifications.
Gameplay[edit | edit source]
Omega Troops is a strategy role-playing game in which players collect, upgrade, and battle with characters known as Troops. Each Troop has a rarity, role, element, statistics, traits, and a set of skills used during combat. Battles are turn-based, with players selecting attacks, support abilities, control effects, and defensive options depending on their team composition and the opposing lineup.
Troops are designed around different combat roles, including attackers, supporters, tanks, deniers, and control-focused units. Higher-rarity Troops generally have more advanced skills, stronger traits, and greater usefulness in competitive or late-game content.
Troops[edit | edit source]
Troops are the central collectible units in Omega Troops. Each Troop belongs to a rarity category and can be upgraded through progression systems. Legendary Troops are typically featured in major events, premium passes, or limited-time rotations.
Troops may include elemental affinities, evolving traits, relic slots, books, and unique skill sets. Some Troops are designed for direct damage, while others focus on healing, stamina control, extra turns, negative effect removal, or disabling enemy teams.
Game modes[edit | edit source]
Campaign[edit | edit source]
The campaign serves as the primary introductory mode, allowing players to progress through stages, earn resources, and unlock early-game rewards.
Events[edit | edit source]
Limited-time events form a major part of the game's live-service structure. Events may include progression tracks, field logs, supply drop hunts, resource challenges, troop unlocks, and competitive reward ladders.
Gangs[edit | edit source]
Gangs are player groups used for cooperative and competitive features. Certain modes, including Gang Wars, require players to be part of a Gang and to have reached a minimum player level.
Gang Wars[edit | edit source]
Gang Wars is a player-versus-player mode in which members of opposing Gangs compete for rewards and ranking progression. The mode requires players to be part of a Gang and to have reached level 15.
Seasons[edit | edit source]
Omega Troops uses a seasonal live-service model. Each season introduces a timed event rotation, new Troops, progression rewards, and limited-time activities.
Season 01[edit | edit source]
Season 01 began on 24 April 2026 and is scheduled to conclude on 22 May 2026. The season introduced Troop Pass Season 01 and several major events, including progression, competitive, and resource-based activities.
