The 2026 IDF Grand Slam of Darts is an upcoming professional darts tournament organised by the International Darts Federation (IDF). It is scheduled to take place from 14 to 22 November 2026 at the Aldersley Leisure Village in Wolverhampton, England.

The tournament will feature 32 players initially divided into eight groups of four. Each player will play the other three members of their group once, with the top two players from each group advancing to the knockout stage.

The IDF confirmed the tournament schedule, format and prize fund alongside the placement of the eight seeded players into Groups A to H. The remaining 24 qualifiers will be allocated to the groups following the completion of the qualification process.

The tournament will have a total prize fund of £800,000, with £175,000 awarded to the champion.

Format

The tournament will begin with eight groups of four players.

Each player will play three group-stage matches. The top two players from each group will advance to the second round, with the remaining two players eliminated.

Group positions will be determined by:

  1. Number of match wins
  2. Leg difference
  3. Legs won
  4. Head-to-head result
  5. Tournament average, if required

All group-stage matches will be played over the best of nine legs.

The knockout stage will be played as follows:

  • Group stage: best of 9 legs
  • Second round: best of 19 legs
  • Quarter-finals: best of 31 legs
  • Semi-finals: best of 31 legs
  • Final: best of 31 legs

The second round will therefore be first to 10 legs, while the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final will be first to 16.

The knockout draw will be predetermined, with each group winner facing the runner-up from another group.

The second-round pairings will be:

  • Winner Group A v Runner-up Group B
  • Winner Group B v Runner-up Group A
  • Winner Group C v Runner-up Group D
  • Winner Group D v Runner-up Group C
  • Winner Group E v Runner-up Group F
  • Winner Group F v Runner-up Group E
  • Winner Group G v Runner-up Group H
  • Winner Group H v Runner-up Group G

The total prize fund will be £800,000.

Qualification

The tournament will feature 32 players drawn from multiple qualification routes across the 2026 IDF season.

Background

The Grand Slam of Darts is one of the IDF's major ranking tournaments and differs from most events on the circuit through its opening round-robin group stage.

The 2026 tournament is scheduled to take place three weeks after the 2026 IDF European Championship, which was won by Logan White after he defeated defending champion Alex Brow 16–14 in the final.

Elias Storm enters the Grand Slam as the fifth seed. Storm returned from a broken wrist at the European Championship, where he defeated Cole Hamilton in the first round before losing 11–9 to Nathan Owens in the second round. The Grand Slam will be Storm's second tournament since returning from the injury.
