Monster: The Dorian Kane Story is the first season of the American biographical crime drama anthology television series Monster, created by Freddie Goodwin and Leo Bennett for Netflix, which is scheduled to be released on December 1, 2024. Goodwin and Bennett both serve as showrunners. Monster: The Dorian Kane Story is about the life of the murderer Dorian Kane, a murderer who killed dozens of victims.
Monster was received negatively upon the release of the first trailer, with many stating it could be "too much gore" and "glorifying murderers", however the trailer still was liked more than disliked. The Dorian Kane Story was announced to be releasing in its entirety on December 1 in June 2024.

In August 2019, it was confirmed from insiders that a television series based on people who've commited "serious crimes" was in development from Freddie Goodwin and a second person, who at the time, wasn't known. In December of that year, it was confirmed Goodwin had started a company to help new film makers start making television series, and introducing
