The 2027 Hyperion World Snooker Championship was a professional snooker tournament held from 17 April to 3 May 2027 at the Hyperion Arena in Manchester, England. It was the final ranking event of the 2026–27 snooker season and the third edition of the tournament to be held at the Hyperion venue. Organised by the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association, it continued to serve as the sport’s most prestigious competition.
Defending champion
Zhang Kai (CHN) successfully defended his title, becoming the first back-to-back world champion since
Mark Selby (ENG) in 2016–2017. In a dramatic final, he defeated former champion Error creating thumbnail: Dominic Hale (SCO) 18–16, coming from 14–16 behind to win the last four frames. The event featured a record **96 century breaks**, including a maximum break of 147 by Error creating thumbnail: Ewan Mitchell (ENG) in round one.
