The first season of the Blood Pact anime series is directed by Alex Brow, and produced by Mob Productions for the streaming service Netflix. The season was marketed as Death Awakening, and was released on June 10, 2025 and consisted of 16 episodes.
On August 6, 2025, Brow confirmed that the series had been renewed for a second season. The second season is schedulde to be released in 2027.

Cast and characters

5. Lord Veylor – Mads Mikkelsen
The primary antagonist of Season 1 — a powerful sorcerer seeking to shatter the Blood Pact and claim its power for himself. Cold, articulate, and manipulative.
6. Talin Marr – Ben Barnes
A charming but morally ambiguous assassin-for-hire who works for multiple factions, including Veylor. His loyalties shift with the tides.
7. Eira Solvine – Florence Pugh
A young healer whose bloodline is directly tied to the origin of the pact. Her powers are vital to keeping Kael alive, but she fears what the magic could become.
