Production
Development
On February 2, 2032, HBO officially confirmed the fifth season of Monster, subtitled The Zodiac Killer.[1]
On March 21, 2032, showrunner Jane Holloway stated that the season would blend the intimate dread of Season 1 with the broader systemic themes of Season 2, emphasizing that the Zodiac case would be presented as both a crime story and a cultural phenomenon.[2]
On May 9, 2032, HBO announced that the season would premiere on October 17, 2032, and feature eight episodes released weekly.[3]
On August 28, 2032, HBO revealed the official episode titles and full release schedule.[4]
