| Three months after resetting the timeline, Miles enjoys a fragile peace with Kendra and Grace until strange static flickers, muted distortions across Midvale, and an “itchy spark” sensed by Grace reveal an unseen force stalking him from the void left after defeating Future Miles. When Victor Blackthorn reappears via a hijacked broadcast—alive, altered, and claiming Miles cracked open the Silent Realm during the final battle—“Silent” entities made of living static begin slipping into the city, freezing people and reality itself as they pursue their true target: Miles. With Grace suddenly manifesting Silence energy through physical contact, the team learns the Silent Realm marked both father and daughter during the reset. Realizing the threat won’t stop until he willingly returns to the realm that wants to reclaim him, Miles accepts the horrifying truth that to protect his family and the city, he must lead Team Velocity into the Silent Realm itself to end what he accidentally unleashed. | ||||||||||||

| Kendra receives a 1960 classified file left on her doorstep containing photos of a man identical to Miles—Eobard Porter, “Subject Zero,” tied to early metahuman experiments and the Porter bloodline’s secret involvement in Project E-D-0, leading her and Jason into Midvale’s restricted archives where they uncover evidence that Miles’ father wasn’t born in this timeline and that Miles himself may have been engineered through a generational link to the Silence. As Silent entities hunt them through the city, Grace manifests Silence-energy strong enough to destroy one, forcing Kendra to confront the possibility that Grace was marked during the reset. Back at the base, the team realizes Miles’ powers, his family history, and the Silence are deeply connected, and when Blackthorn appears in person—alive and corrupted—he reveals that Eobard Porter discovered the Silence decades ago and made a deal involving Miles’ bloodline, warning that Grace is now the final part of that bargain as the Silent Realm erupts into the room. | ||||||||||||

| As Silence energy spreads across Midvale, Blackthorn returns warning that Grace is the first being born with both Speed Force and Silence power, the prophesied “Lightning Between Worlds,” and reveals that the Porter bloodline began when Eobard Porter opened the first doorway to the Silent Realm in 1959 and made a generational deal promising a hybrid child to anchor their dimension. Kendra and the team learn Robert and Miles were never random targets but engineered outcomes of that pact, and that Grace’s inherited Silence-mark now pulls the realm toward her. Miles and Bart investigate an active Silent portal and discover the Silence aren’t hunting power but reclaiming the identity their timeline believes belongs to them, while Grace’s refusal to answer their call triggers a failsafe promising global collapse if the hybrid child rejects the pact. Determined to break the cycle, Miles vows to protect his daughter and sever the Silence’s hold, even as an ancient figure appears from the widening portal demanding the “Child of the Storm,” pulling the world toward the confrontation Miles can no longer avoid. | ||||||||||||
