Avengers: Forever is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics team the Avengers. Produced by Mob Productions and SOI Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, the film is intended to serve as a sequel to Avengers: Age of Doom and Avengers: Secret Wars. It will be the third installment in the Avengers film series and a major entry in the Mob Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is written and directed by Freddie Goodwin and is expected to feature an ensemble cast.
In September 2024, three new Avengers films were announced as part of Phase Three of the MCU, with Avengers: Forever positioned as the concluding chapter of a storyline that began in the post-credits scene of Deadpool & Wolverine (2024). Goodwin, the lead creative behind the MCU, admitted that the franchise had lacked a “proper” starting point, and stated that Forever would serve to resolve many lingering narrative threads. The film’s release date was announced in May 2025, with principal photography expected to begin in March 2028.
