The Flash War is an upcoming superhero film based on the DC Comics character The Flash. Produced by Warner Bros. Pictures, DC Studios, Double Dream, and the Disco Factory, and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, it is intended to be the first film in the DC Fightingverse. The film will be directed by Freddie Goodwin from a script from Myla Salazar, Ethan Morland, and Goodwin. It stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen / Flash alongside ... . In the film, Barry must fight off threats who plan to destroy Central City in order to rule the world.
Goodwin had been in discussions to write films throughout the 2000s and early 2010s, though turned down the idea of making the DC Fightingverse, however agreed to direct one film. The Flash War was officially announced to be the first film with the Reverse-Flash expected to appear in the film.
The Flash War is scheduled to be released in the United States on March 29, 2024, as the first film of the DC Fightingverse.
