Nikolai Gavrilov defeated Diego Martínez in the final, 4–6, 7–5, 6–3, 3–6, 6–4 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2024 Tennis World Championship. It was Gavrilov's first world championship title and his second major overall, having previously won the 2022 European Open. The match lasted 4 hours and 12 minutes and featured high-intensity baseline rallies, with Gavrilov ultimately sealing victory with a forehand winner on his second championship point.

Sebastian North was the defending champion but was defeated in the quarterfinals by Martínez in a closely contested three-set match. North had entered the tournament as the world No. 1 and top seed.

The tournament was held at the Crystal Arena in Cape Town, South Africa, marking the first time the event took place on African soil. The 2024 edition featured 128 players in the main draw, including 16 qualifiers and 8 wildcards.
