The 2026 IDF Super League was the inaugural edition of the IDF Super League, a professional darts tournament organised by the International Darts Federation (IDF). The event began on 5 February 2026 at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney and concluded with the play-offs at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on 28 May 2026. The tournament featured a $2,000,000 prize fund, including a $450,000 winner's share, weekly winner bonuses, a halfway leader bonus and a nine-dart finish bonus.[1][2]
The tournament was created as the IDF's elite touring league and used a two-phase format. Sixteen players began the competition across eight weekly knockout nights, with the top eight players in the standings advancing to the second half of the league. The remaining eight players then contested a further eight nights, after which the top four qualified for the play-offs.[3]
Australia Zane Holloway won the inaugural title, defeating
England Elias Storm 11-9 in the final. Holloway had finished top of the league table on leg difference after he and Storm both ended the league phase on 55 points.
England Logan White and
England Theo Bartlett also qualified for the play-offs, while
Australia Alex Brow finished fifth after winning two league nights but falling short of the final four.
The tournament's first half was noted for its severe elimination cut, with eight players removed after Night 8. Scotland Isaac Drummond claimed the final second-phase place despite finishing on six points, while England Dean Holloway, Wales Jamie Cross, Australia Jordan Pike and Germany Sebastian Kruger were all eliminated on four points. Drummond also hit the competition's first nine-dart finish on Night 5 in Adelaide.

Background[edit | edit source]
The IDF announced the Super League in November 2025 as a weekly invitational competition designed to sit above its existing tour events and provide a regular primetime competition for the highest-ranked players in the sport.[1] The format was influenced by weekly knockout league systems, but the IDF expanded the field to 16 players and introduced a halfway elimination mechanism intended to create a stronger divide between qualification, survival and title contention.[3]
The 2026 edition was staged across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, the Middle East, Europe and North America. The first eight nights were held outside mainland Europe, with the second half of the league shifting to Europe and North America before Finals Night in Las Vegas.[4]
Elias Storm entered the tournament as the top-ranked player and reigning IDF World Darts Championship winner, while Zane Holloway entered as one of the season's breakout players following his run to the final weekend of the 2026 World Championship. Three-time IDF world champion Theo Bartlett and 2025 World Championship runner-up Logan White were also included in the field.[5]

The Super League used a weekly knockout format split into two phases. In Nights 1-8, all 16 players competed in a single-night knockout bracket consisting of a last 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals and final. At the end of Night 8, the top eight players in the league table advanced, while the bottom eight were eliminated from the competition.
In Nights 9-16, the remaining eight players competed in a weekly knockout bracket consisting of quarter-finals, semi-finals and a final. Points from the opening phase carried over into the second phase. At the end of Night 16, the top four players in the league table advanced to the play-offs, where first played fourth and second played third in the semi-finals. The semi-finals were played to the best of 19 legs, while the final was played to the best of 21 legs.
All league-stage matches were played to the best of 11 legs. Points were awarded as follows:

Tie-breakers were determined by nightly wins, matches won, leg difference and legs won. If players remained tied after those measures, the higher finishing player from the most recent night was placed ahead.

The 2026 Super League had a total prize fund of $2,000,000. The champion received a $450,000 base prize, with an additional $10,000 paid to every league-stage night winner.[2]

The tournament was broadcast on IDF World in most territories, with partner coverage on Fox Sports in Australia, Sky Sport in New Zealand, TNT Sports in the United Kingdom and Ireland, DAZN in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Viaplay in the Netherlands and Scandinavia, ESPN+ in the United States and Canada, and StarHub in Singapore.[6]

Sixteen players were invited to compete in the inaugural Super League. The field included the leading players on the IDF Order of Merit, regional tour qualifiers and selected wildcard entries approved by the IDF competition committee.[5]

Night 1 – Night 4[edit | edit source]
Elias Storm won the opening night in Sydney, defeating Logan White in the final after earlier wins over Oliver Quinn, Isaac Drummond and Theo Bartlett. The result immediately placed Storm at the head of the table, although White's run to the final and semi-final appearances from Bartlett and Zane Holloway prevented an early gap from forming.
Bartlett responded on Night 2 in Melbourne, winning the final against Holloway and becoming the second different winner in as many weeks. Storm again reached the semi-finals, while Alex Brow claimed his first major points of the competition with a semi-final run that moved him into the top half of the standings.
Night 3 in Auckland produced White's first night win. White defeated Brow in the final, while Holloway and Kai Mitchell reached the semi-finals. The result tightened the top of the table, with Storm, White, Bartlett and Holloway separated by only a small margin after three weeks.
Holloway won Night 4 in Perth, beating Bartlett in the final after Storm and White were eliminated in the semi-finals. The win made Holloway the fourth different nightly winner and confirmed that the first half of the season would not be dominated by one player. Brow, Sebastian Kruger, Callum Rhys and Isaac Drummond reached the quarter-finals, giving Drummond important survival points in the race to avoid the halfway cut.
Night 5 – Night 8[edit | edit source]
Storm won his second night of the season on Night 5 in Adelaide, defeating Holloway in the final. The night was also notable for Drummond's nine-dart finish, which came during his last-16 match against White. Although Drummond did not progress deep into the night, the moment became one of the defining highlights of the opening phase.
Night 6 in Brisbane delivered the first major shift in the middle of the table when Brow defeated Storm in the final. Brow's victory pushed him clear of the elimination battle and effectively secured his place in the second phase. Bartlett and Holloway again reached the semi-finals, while White, Jordan Pike, Drummond and Miles Ward reached the quarter-finals.
White won Night 7 in Singapore, defeating Bartlett in the final. Storm and Parker Reeves reached the semi-finals, with Reeves gaining crucial points that strengthened his claim for a top-eight place. Holloway, Brow, Mitchell and Kruger reached the quarter-finals, but several players at the bottom of the table were left needing deep runs on Night 8.
Holloway won Night 8 in Dubai, defeating Storm in the final to finish level with Storm on 31 points at the halfway stage. White and Bartlett completed the semi-finalists, while Brow, Mitchell, Pike and Dean Holloway reached the quarter-finals. The top eight players advanced to the second phase, with Drummond taking the final qualification place on six points. Dean Holloway, Jamie Cross, Pike, Kruger, Rhys, Mateo Ruiz, Ward and Quinn were eliminated.
Night 9 – Night 12[edit | edit source]
Bartlett opened the second phase by winning Night 9 in London. He defeated Storm in the final after Holloway and White were beaten in the semi-finals. The result brought Bartlett back into play-off contention and reduced the gap between the top four.
Holloway won Night 10 in Manchester, beating White in the final. Storm and Brow reached the semi-finals, with Brow briefly threatening to force his way into the top four. Storm then won Night 11 in Dublin, defeating Bartlett in the final and restoring pressure on Holloway at the top of the table.
Night 12 in Rotterdam produced Brow's second nightly win of the season. Brow defeated Holloway in the final, while Storm and Bartlett reached the semi-finals. The win kept Brow alive in the play-off race, although the size of the gap to the top four meant he needed another major run in the final month of league play.
Night 13 – Night 16[edit | edit source]
White won Night 13 in Berlin, defeating Storm in the final and overtaking Bartlett for third place. Holloway and Bartlett were semi-finalists, while Brow, Mitchell, Reeves and Drummond all exited in the quarter-finals. The result left the top four increasingly stable, but the battle for the order of the play-off seedings remained open.
Holloway won Night 14 in Copenhagen, beating Bartlett in the final. Storm and Brow reached the semi-finals, but Brow's failure to reach the final left him needing a near-perfect finish to qualify for the play-offs. Storm won Night 15 in Toronto, defeating White in the final, while Holloway and Bartlett reached the semi-finals. The result confirmed Holloway, Storm, White and Bartlett as the four play-off qualifiers.
Mitchell produced the biggest upset of the second phase on Night 16 in New York, winning the night despite being unable to qualify for the play-offs. He defeated Holloway in the final, while Storm and White reached the semi-finals. Holloway nevertheless finished top of the final league table on leg difference, with Storm second, White third and Bartlett fourth.
Finals Night[edit | edit source]
Finals Night was held at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on 28 May. Holloway faced Bartlett in the first semi-final, while Storm faced White in the second. Holloway defeated Bartlett 10-6, using a run of four consecutive legs to move from 5-4 ahead to the brink of victory. Storm then defeated White 10-8 in a tighter second semi-final, surviving a late comeback after White reduced the deficit from 9-5 to 9-8.
The final was contested between Holloway and Storm, the two players who had finished level on 55 points at the top of the league table. Storm led 5-3 during the first half of the match, but Holloway levelled at 6-6 and later broke throw to move 9-8 ahead. Storm forced the match to 9-9, before Holloway won the final two legs to complete an 11-9 victory and become the first IDF Super League champion.
