The 2039 IDF World Championship was a professional darts tournament held from 5 to 21 January 2039 at Alexandra Palace in London, England. Organised by the International Darts Federation (IDF), it was the sixteenth edition of the event and the fifth to feature the streamlined 16-player leg-based format.
Rico Tanaka entered as the defending champion after his marathon 38–36 victory the previous year. However, his title defense ended in the quarter-finals, where he was beaten in a tight contest by Elias Storm, who went on to dominate the tournament. Storm, who had not reached a final since 2036, recaptured top form with relentless scoring and clutch checkouts.
In the final, Storm defeated Tyler Brooks 36–32, registering a tournament-high 170 checkout and averaging 104.1 across the match. It was Storm’s second world title, five years after his first in 2031.
