Aurora Animation Studios
Aurora Animation Studios is an American CGI and hybrid-animation film studio headquartered in Portland, Oregon, United States. The studio has produced 12 feature films since 2012, all of which have been released by Lighthouse Pictures, beginning with Skybound on June 15, 2012. Its most recent film is Starforged, released on August 8, 2024.
Aurora's upcoming film slate includes Meadowlight in 2026, The Clockmaker’s Atlas in 2027, and Starforged 2 in 2028 or later.[1]

Aurora Animation confirmed in October 2024 that directors Rae Sutton and Felix Wren are each developing original feature films, both untitled and without announced release windows.[5]

Nebula’s Gate[edit | edit source]
A sci-fi horror project directed by Jonah Pike was in development between 2016 and 2018 before being canceled due to budget escalation and creative disagreements.[6]
Harborfall[edit | edit source]
An early concept tied loosely to The Last Harbor, the film was abandoned in 2014 before significant production.[7]
