Avengers: Armageddon is an upcoming American fan-made superhero film based on characters appearing in Marvel Comics. It is the sequel to Avengers: Eternity War (2027). The film features an ensemble cast including Anthony Mackie, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Holland, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Brie Larson, Letitia Wright, Simu Liu, Florence Pugh, Hailee Steinfeld, Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn, all reprising their respective roles from previous films.

The film continues the story established in Avengers: Eternity War, with members of the Avengers returning alongside the Fantastic Four. Details regarding the film's plot and additional cast members have not yet been revealed.

Avengers: Armageddon was developed as the direct sequel to Avengers: Eternity War, continuing the larger Avengers storyline established in that film. The project is planned for release in 2028.

Casting[edit | edit source]

The first confirmed cast consisted entirely of returning performers. Mackie, Cumberbatch, Holland, Hemsworth, Ruffalo, Larson, Wright, Liu, Pugh, and Steinfeld were confirmed to reprise their respective roles, continuing the Avengers ensemble established in the preceding film.

Pascal, Kirby, Moss-Bachrach, and Quinn were also confirmed to reprise their roles as Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Ben Grimm, and Johnny Storm, respectively, bringing the full Fantastic Four into the sequel.

Additional cast members had not yet been announced.
