School Warrior is a year-long weekly limited series published by Mob Productions, that began in March 2025.

Plot[edit | edit source]

Alex Singh, a withdrawn sixteen-year-old student, arrives at Ravenridge High School intent on getting through the day unnoticed. His attempt at anonymity collapses when a hallway altercation with a larger student triggers an unexplained reaction, warping a locker without physical contact. When the bully attacks again, time appears to stutter and Alex instinctively strikes back, releasing a shockwave that sends the student crashing down the corridor. The incident leaves the school in chaos as Alex realizes he has manifested powers he neither understands nor controls.

Panicking, Alex flees through the building, cracking walls and bending metal as teachers respond. In a bathroom, he briefly sees his reflection move out of sync before losing control again and destroying a sink. Outside, emergency services arrive while a mysterious suited man observes from afar and confirms that something has “activated.” That night, Alex returns home shaken but determined, accepting that his once-ordinary life has irrevocably changed.

In the aftermath of the violent incident at Ravenridge High School, the campus is closed by police as footage of the destruction circulates among students and the media. At home, Alex Singh struggles to suppress his abilities, causing objects to move in response to his emotions, while police inquiries strain his family and reduce the event to an unexplained “incident.” Summoned before the school board, Alex is questioned about what happened but refuses to speak, shaken by flashes of the moment his powers emerged.

When he returns to school grounds, Alex is shunned by classmates who fear him. His grip on reality weakens further when his reflection begins acting independently. Later, he is confronted in an alley by older teens and instinctively stops an attack mid-air, injuring one of them as his power surges and shatters nearby windows. The mysterious suited man reappears, warning Alex that he is being watched and that his lack of control has made him a target.

Ravenridge High School reopens under heavy surveillance, its recent destruction hidden beneath fresh paint and newly installed cameras that track Alex Singh as he returns. Students avoid him, whispering as he passes, while Alex notices disturbing changes in himself, including a reflection that lags behind his movements and silently mouths words. Summoned to the administration office, Alex is confronted by the mysterious suited man, who presents evidence of similar incidents and explains that Alex’s abilities are classified as a “student-level event” meant to be monitored and contained. The man admits that not everyone with these abilities adapts successfully.

Angered by being reduced to a manageable risk, Alex refuses the offer of oversight in exchange for staying enrolled and is warned that noncompliance will reclassify him as a threat. As surveillance cameras follow his exit, Alex retreats to the school rooftop, where he steadies his power and resolves to act without permission, aware that unseen forces are watching.

After school, Alex is held alone in a heavily reinforced detention room outfitted with cameras and bolted furniture, making it clear the punishment is also a test. As he waits, the lights flicker and Alex’s reflection begins speaking to him, warning that he is not meant to leave freely. An older, visibly battered student enters the room and reveals that he was once in Alex’s position, subjected to what authorities called “guidance.” Through brief flashes of the past, it is implied that others like them were observed and pressured into submission.

When Alex admits that he also hears the voice, the student cautions him not to trust either the reflection or those watching. Alarm lights signal that intervention is imminent, and the student explains that what is coming is about enforcing compliance. As tension builds and the room begins to crack under Alex’s power, he regains control and asserts his own agency. The student departs as Alex is left alone under constant surveillance, realizing that detention was only the beginning of sustained observation.

During a mandatory morning assembly at Ravenridge High School, heavy security and surveillance signal heightened control following recent incidents. Alex senses something is wrong when his perception shifts, allowing him to identify several other students exhibiting subtle manifestations of unusual abilities, including Mara Kline, Jayden Cross, Leo Park, and Rina Solis. As administrators speak, tensions escalate and a distressed student triggers a disruptive sonic event, plunging the courtyard into chaos. Multiple students lose control of their powers, exposing the scope of what authorities have been monitoring.

Security responds by deploying suppression emitters that incapacitate students indiscriminately, confirming the assembly is a coordinated sweep rather than a safety measure. Realizing the students are being harmed, Alex intervenes with a controlled shockwave that disables the equipment without injuring anyone. Recognized as a focal point by both the empowered students and the observers, Alex urges those affected to flee. As drones descend to pursue them, Alex leads a small group to escape, exposing Ravenridge as a containment facility rather than a school.

Fleeing Ravenridge High, Alex and several empowered students take refuge in an abandoned service tunnel beneath the school, only to find their escape routes sealing behind them. As security forces close in, tensions fracture the group: Jayden panics, Leo insists on splitting up, and Rina senses time behaving erratically within the tunnel. Alex’s unsettling reflection reappears, hinting that the underground facility was designed to contain students like them. When the corridor destabilizes, a widening fissure separates the group, forcing hard choices. Leo volunteers to draw pursuit away and escapes through another route, with Jayden following, leaving Alex, Mara Kline, and Rina Solis behind. As security descends and suppression emitters activate, Alex collapses the tunnel entrance to protect those remaining. With the group divided and containment protocols escalating, the escape turns into a coordinated hunt.

Hiding beneath the school district in an abandoned transit terminal, Alex, Mara, and Rina struggle to recover as security forces continue their sweep of the underground. Rina admits the strain of using her abilities nearly broke her, while Alex remains alert, certain the pursuit is not over. As armed units close in and blast doors seal off escape routes, Alex’s disturbing reflection reappears, taunting him with visions of Leo fleeing alone and Jayden being captured. It suggests that while strength can hold ground, speed can change outcomes.

When security deploys suppression emitters, Alex refuses a direct confrontation. Instead, his perception shifts: sound stretches, rain hangs motionless, and Alex moves faster than the environment around him. He races through the tunnel, dismantling equipment and disarming soldiers without striking them, repeatedly reappearing in impossible positions. Carrying Mara and Rina, Alex outruns the collapse of the tunnels and escapes to the city streets above.

Once the world snaps back to normal speed, Alex collapses from exhaustion, shaken by what he has done. He realizes his power was not newly granted but always present, misunderstood as bad timing and near misses throughout his life. As sirens approach, Alex stands alone, aware that while strength draws attention, speed determines who escapes containment and who is left behind.

Alex, Mara, and Rina observe an industrial complex on the city outskirts that has been converted into a fortified containment site. As a convoy arrives, they realize this is not a routine operation but a coordinated trap designed to capture people like them. Alex flashes visions of Jayden restrained in mid-air and Leo buried beneath rubble, confirming the authorities are systematically collecting empowered students. When they witness another student being dragged into a glowing suppression field that instantly strips their abilities, the danger becomes clear.

Despite Mara’s warnings, Alex decides to intervene. He races from the rooftop, but upon entering the field, his accelerated perception collapses and the world snaps back to normal speed. Cut off from his powers and even his reflection, Alex is overwhelmed and captured by security forces. Inside a mobile containment unit, the suited man confronts him, revealing footage of Mara and Rina being restrained and dismissing them as expendable variables while labeling Alex as something far more valuable.

As Alex is isolated and restrained, the suppression field begins to destabilize. Hearing his reflection only faintly, Alex realizes his strength does not depend on speed alone. Centering himself, he resists the system entirely, causing the dead zone to fracture and containment to fail. The operation collapses as Alex proves that even without motion, he cannot be controlled.
