ShooterofIO: Mobile is a free-to-play first-person shooter developed by Supreme Studios and published by Mob Productions for mobile and handheld platforms. Designed as a standalone entry within the ShooterofIO franchise, the title adapts the series’ gunplay and progression systems for touch-based devices while supporting cross-progression with the unified ShooterofIO HQ profile. The game was released worldwide on November 28, 2025.

Gameplay[edit | edit source]

ShooterofIO: Mobile features a streamlined version of the franchise’s traditional combat systems, rebuilt for screen-based controls using the developer’s “Adaptive Combat Framework,” which adjusts movement, aiming, and equipment handling for handheld play. Weapons utilize a recoil system referred to as Dynamic Recoil Mapping, designed to emphasize manual control accuracy on smaller displays.

At launch, the game includes three core modes:

  • Strike Ops: a 5v5 competitive mode played on compact arenas.
  • Frontline Zero: a large-scale objective mode featuring vehicles, shifting frontlines, and supply-based mechanics.
  • Elimination Arena: a round-based mode with evolving loadouts.

Maps include adapted locations from ShooterofIO: Modern Ops 2 as well as original environments developed exclusively for mobile, such as the urban map Havenreach. Players retain access to Operator customization, loadouts, and cosmetic progression through the Armory Exchange, Credits economy, and the Challenge Pass system.

Challenge Pass[edit | edit source]

The Challenge Pass provides season-based progression through weekly objectives spanning weapon use, Operator abilities, and tactical gameplay. Completing challenges raises the player’s Pass Rank, unlocking Credits, cosmetics, and exclusive seasonal items. Select milestone tiers reward premium blueprints and Operator skins, and branching “Operations” paths allow progression tailored to preferred playstyles.

Credits and the Armory Exchange[edit | edit source]

Credits function as the game’s earnable currency and are awarded for eliminations, match completions, objective captures, and seasonal milestones. Credits may be spent in the Armory Exchange, a rotating storefront offering blueprints, Operator skins, cosmetic items, and limited Mythical-tier rewards. Prices scale by rarity, and all items are obtainable without paid currency, though optional credit bundles are available through the in-game store.

Seasonal updates[edit | edit source]

To monetize the game, Supreme Studios implemented the Credits and Armory Exchange systems alongside a 28-day seasonal model. Each season included a Battle Pass with 120 tiers of content. Mobile features a freemium in-game currency, Credits, which can be purchased with real-world money or earned through gameplay. The first season began on November 28. In March 2026, Supreme Studios announced a change to a challenge-based Battle Pass system, requiring players to complete in-game challenges to progress. The change was later cancelled following negative reception from players.

1 Rise of Steel November 28 The conflict begins with rapid industrial expansion as global powers race to mass-produce advanced weaponry. Private military forces are deployed to secure key manufacturing zones, turning once-neutral regions into heavily contested battlegrounds. Operators are introduced to mechanized warfare, with early prototypes of automated defense systems and experimental firearms entering circulation. As production ramps up, intelligence reports suggest that one faction is stockpiling far beyond defensive needs. Skirmishes escalate into full-scale engagements around steel refineries and assembly plants, establishing the foundation of a prolonged global conflict. The war is no longer theoretical — it is being built, piece by piece, in steel.
2 Cold Divide December 26 The war spreads into frozen territories as factions push into arctic regions to secure untapped resources and strategic positioning. Harsh conditions force operators to adapt, with visibility, movement, and survival becoming just as important as combat. Supply lines are stretched thin across ice-covered terrain, leading to isolated engagements and fractured fronts. Recon teams report unusual energy readings beneath the ice, sparking covert operations to investigate. As tensions rise, entire regions become cut off due to extreme weather and sabotage, dividing forces into scattered pockets of resistance. The battlefield grows colder — and more unpredictable — as something beneath the surface begins to draw attention.

3 Fractured Front January 23 Global stability collapses as alliances break down and multiple fronts emerge simultaneously. Urban centers become warzones, with civilian infrastructure repurposed into defensive positions and combat zones. Operators are deployed into dense cities and abandoned districts where control shifts daily. Communication between factions deteriorates, leading to misinformation, rogue operations, and internal conflict. Intelligence leaks reveal that key leadership figures may be acting independently, further destabilizing the war effort. The once-structured battlefield fractures into chaos, with no clear frontlines remaining. Every mission becomes uncertain, as operators are forced to navigate a war that is no longer unified, but splintered into competing agendas.
4 Iron Reign February 20 A dominant faction rises from the chaos, consolidating power through force and strategic control of critical regions. Fortified installations and heavily defended zones begin appearing across the map, signaling a shift from scattered warfare to organized domination. Operators encounter advanced weapon systems and heavily armored units designed to maintain control at all costs. Resistance groups form in response, launching coordinated strikes against these strongholds. Surveillance and enforcement intensify, making every movement a risk. The battlefield becomes more controlled, but far more dangerous, as one power attempts to impose order through overwhelming strength. The war enters a new phase — one defined by control, not chaos.
5 Ashfall Protocol March 20 A catastrophic event reshapes the battlefield as volcanic eruptions devastate multiple regions, blanketing entire zones in ash and fire. Key strongholds are destroyed or abandoned, forcing factions to rapidly reposition. Emergency protocols are activated as operators are sent into unstable environments to recover assets and secure what remains. Visibility drops, terrain shifts, and new hazards emerge, turning familiar locations into deadly traps. Reports suggest the eruptions were not entirely natural, raising questions about experimental activity in previous seasons. As ash continues to fall, the balance of power is disrupted once again. Survival becomes the priority, as the war adapts to a world on the brink of collapse.
6 Wreckage Protocol April 17 In the aftermath of destruction, the battlefield is left in ruin. Collapsed structures, scattered debris, and abandoned war machines define a new era of combat. Factions struggle to rebuild, relying on salvaged technology and improvised tactics to gain an advantage. Operators are deployed into fractured environments where resources are scarce and every encounter is unpredictable. Old strongholds lie in pieces, and control is no longer held — it must be reclaimed. Hidden caches and remnants of past operations become key objectives, hinting at what was lost during the collapse. The war continues, but it has changed. This is no longer a fight for dominance — it is a fight to survive and rebuild.

Development[edit | edit source]

The game was first referenced in November 2024, when Supreme Studios was confirmed to be developing a dedicated mobile entry for the ShooterofIO franchise. By May 2025, the project had been formally identified as ShooterofIO: Mobile, with Mob Productions announcing a late-2025 release window scheduled to coincide with the launch of the franchise’s next mainline premium title.

Development centered on reworking the franchise’s movement and combat systems for mobile devices. Supreme Studios introduced new traversal features, such as Edge Mantles and Quick-Deploy actions, alongside an overhauled recoil system optimized for handheld precision. Several multiplayer maps from Modern Ops 2 were rebuilt for shorter engagement distances and reduced visual clutter to improve visibility and performance on mobile screens.

Announcement and release[edit | edit source]

ShooterofIO: Mobile was formally announced on November 1, 2025, through the official ShooterofIO website, which confirmed cross-progression support and a global release set for November 28, 2025.[1] The announcement also introduced the game’s first seasonal update, Season 1: Rise of Steel, which added three gameplay modes, five launch maps, and the debut of the Mythical Crate system.

The game released as scheduled on November 28, 2025, marking the beginning of its live seasonal cycle.
