The Elder God story has the same characters as the Overworld story, but everything is "reworked" the characters have memories of what happened in the Overworld story, but things will play out differently, and will be set after the events of the Overworld saga and will lead directly into the Dark Realm Saga. Air Studios confirmed that the Elder God Saga is a "interlude" chapter to set-up the requirements for the next story, the Dark Realm Saga, which is the Overworld Saga Pt. II which is bigger.

Dark Aether Saga[edit | edit source]

The Discovery: October 10th, 1950[edit | edit source]

Dr. Godish Zeus, a distinguished physicist captivated by the mysteries of the unknown, found himself confronting an enigmatic forest. This was no ordinary woodland; it had been barricaded from the rest of the world due to unsettling reports of unnatural events transpiring within its confines. Unyielding to fear or superstition, Dr. Zeus decided it was time to penetrate this secretive realm. Armed with a fearless resolve and his unwavering scientific curiosity, he bypassed the barriers, venturing into the forest's mysterious heart. What he discovered there defied all reason—a luminescent, green portal that seemed to rebel against the established laws of physics.

As he moved closer to examine the anomaly, he was overcome by a gravitational force that tugged at the essence of his being. Before he could fully process the situation, an otherworldly entity burst forth from the portal, enveloping him entirely. In that transformative moment, the man once known as Dr. Godish Zeus ceased to exist. In his stead emerged a figure of immense wisdom and incomprehensible power—a God incarnate. The enigmatic essence had fused with his very essence, metamorphosing him at a cellular and cosmic level. His title of "Doctor" now seemed inconsequential compared to the cosmic powers he had acquired.

The Dark Aether Orb: July 1969[edit | edit source]

Nineteen years elapsed since that pivotal day when Dr. Zeus—now simply known as "Godish"—became a divine entity. During this period, he retreated from public life, contemplating the moral and philosophical implications of his newfound omnipotence. However, the mysterious essence that had possessed him was not content with idle ruminations; it spurred him to engage in an act of creation—one that would encapsulate his immeasurable capabilities. Thus, he resolved to fashion the "Dark Aether Orb."

Intended as a vessel of inexhaustible energy and latent functionalities, the Dark Aether Orb was a masterstroke of both divine craftsmanship and scientific ingenuity. After arduous months of laborious effort, Godish completed the Dark Aether Orb, its construction a harmonious blend of earthly elements and celestial matter. Excited to tap into its untold potential, he activated the Orb. Unexpectedly, it immediately deactivated and became untouchable, as if it were recoiling from his influence.

Confounded yet unwavering, Godish stored the Dark Aether Orb in a secluded and secure chamber, interpreting this setback as a riddle waiting to be decoded. Then, months later, a surprising event transpired: The Dark Aether Orb autonomously reactivated, radiating an ethereal luminescence that seemed to mirror Godish's own boundless aspirations. Cautiously, he interacted with it once more and this time succeeded in harnessing its awe-inspiring capabilities.

Upon further introspection, Godish realized that the Orb had needed a period of gestation—an interval during which its internal mechanisms could align with the cosmic forces that empowered it. This revelation allowed Godish to master the Orb's functionalities, reinforcing his conviction that he—and the enigmatic essence inhabiting him—were fated for an undertaking that would transcend the confines of human comprehension.

With the Dark Aether Orb now as his cosmic accomplice, Godish Zeus braced himself for the subsequent stage of his extraordinary existence. He was certain that his actions, guided by both his divine capabilities and the mysterious Dark Aether Orb, would eventually unravel the profound enigmas of life, the universe, and the arcane essence that had bestowed upon him the mantle of Godhood.

The Orb Power: June 1970[edit | edit source]

With the Dark Aether Orb as his cornerstone of power, Godish Zeus turned his attention to a new invention that would amplify the capabilities of earthly weaponry. The machine was an ambitious fusion of arcane arts and cutting-edge technology, conceived to escalate any weapon's potency manifold. He christened this revolutionary device the "Pack-a-Punch."

For this machine to function, the Dark Aether Orb served as the essential catalyst. Godish's notes, laden with esoteric symbols and scientific formulae, explained that only the Orb's unparalleled energy could awaken the Pack-a-Punch machine's full potential. Realizing the limitations of possessing a singular power source, Godish mentioned in his documentation that he was working on a duplicate of the Dark Aether Orb. This second Orb, once completed, would permanently power the Pack-a-Punch, making it an eternally active font of enhanced weaponry.

The Creation of the Undead Forest[edit | edit source]

Before its dark transformation, the forest had been a lively children's theme park—full of laughter, games, and youthful joy. However, in a dramatic twist of fate, the reactivated Dark Aether Orb exerted its influence once more. The once idyllic park spontaneously burst into ethereal flames, consuming everything and mutating the very fabric of reality in that space. When the embers died down, all that remained was a barren, smoky terrain overrun by malevolent energies. The forest, now reborn as a sinister realm, became known as the "Undead Forest."

The Birth of the Undead: January to April 1971[edit | edit source]

In January 1971, Godish's understanding of his supernatural powers reached a new pinnacle. Although he had been endowed with these powers ever since the essence from the original green portal had merged with him, he had not yet fully grasped their source or potential. His rigorous investigations led him to identify the origin of his supernatural abilities, which he termed the "Dark Aether," revising the name from the previously considered "Dark Realm."

The scope and limitations of his powers remained elusive until a fateful experiment where Godish opened a dimensional rift directly into the Dark Aether. The experiment had dire consequences. Legions of undead creatures poured forth, invading the Undead Forest and corrupting it further with their malevolent essence. The situation reached national crisis levels when the President of the USA was slain during a visit to the forest in the tumultuous days following the event.

The Revelation: April 1971[edit | edit source]

By April of that year, Godish had refined his manipulation of the Dark Aether energies. In a daring maneuver, he managed to open a stable green portal linking the earthly realm to the Dark Aether. Steeling himself for whatever lay beyond, he stepped through.

The realm he encountered was a swirling vortex of darkness and energy. Vague, almost sentient, forms floated in the void, and he realized that the very power he had been harnessing emanated from this eerie dimension. The Dark Aether itself seemed to acknowledge his presence, sending signals that identified him as the "Creator." It was an epiphany for Godish; he understood that his divine capabilities and the boundless energy of the Dark Aether Orb were all connected to this realm.

In light of this revelation, Godish contemplated the moral and ethical ramifications of his inventions and powers. The Pack-a-Punch machine, his duplicate Orb, and even the undead that now roamed the forest were all manifestations of the Dark Aether's profound influence. The line between godhood and monstrosity seemed to blur, forcing him to ponder the gravity of his actions and the future that they were inevitably shaping.

With the Dark Aether Orb beside him, and a newfound understanding of his place in the cosmological hierarchy, Godish Zeus knew he stood at a precipice. The next decisions he made would not only define him but could also potentially reshape the universe in ways both awe-inspiring and terrifying. It was a burden only a God, conscious of his fallibility, could bear.

Finding the Undead: The Breach Between Realms[edit | edit source]

Alex, Max, and Dextor stumbled upon an unsettling discovery: the portal they had once navigated was not a one-way door for the undead. It had, instead, acted as a two-way breach, permitting travel between realms for anyone—or anything. As they wrestled with the gravity of their revelation, Alex found himself enveloped in a shroud of red particles and suddenly teleported to an unknown location.

The Operators: Confrontation with Godish Zeus[edit | edit source]

In January 1973, Godish Zeus returned to his previous earthly lab located in what he referred to as the "Overworld Realm." Disguised under the semblance of his old human self, he was engrossed in top-secret work when three members of a covert group known as the Operators stormed into the room. The members immediately engaged Godish in a conversation, revealing that they were fully aware of his dark undertakings. Infuriated by their audacity and the threat they posed to his well-guarded secrets, Godish retaliated by opening a vortex-like portal beneath them. The Operators were plunged into a grim location—what Godish knew as a prison within the Dark Aether.

It wasn't long before Godish discovered that the leader of this defiant group was Alex Fuller. Intrigued yet cautious, Godish engaged in a dialogue with Alex in a space he considered the "lobby" of the Dark Aether. Alex tried to exert psychological pressure on Godish to unravel his secrets, but before any breakthrough could occur, Godish abruptly ended the conversation, claiming he had "plans" for Alex and mysteriously walking away.

The Struggle for Survival: Demon Power and Failure[edit | edit source]

Undeterred by the ominous ambiance of the Dark Aether, Alex set about exploring his environment and found four Powerful Artifacts, which he labeled as "Demon Power." Utilizing one of the Artifacts—Electric Slash—he managed to power up computer devices in the Dark Aether's lobby. Just when he thought he had gained an upper hand, Godish reappeared, abruptly dismantling all the monitors.

Subsequently, Godish initiated a sinister objective for the Operators: 'Survive.' The mission was nothing less than a deadly game. To escape, they had to energize the Dark Aether by defeating an onslaught of undead warriors, creatures emanating from the same realm, and possibly powered by the Dark Aether Orb itself.

The Unintended Consequences: July 20, 1973[edit | edit source]

On July 20th, 1973, after enduring myriad trials, the Operators succeeded in extricating themselves from the Dark Aether. However, their escape was accompanied by an unintended catastrophe—a new breach materialized into their home world, enabling more undead beings to invade. Despite their best efforts to locate the source or a way to seal the breach, they found themselves at an impasse.

Tangled Destinies and The Dark Aether Orb[edit | edit source]

Throughout these events, the Dark Aether Orb remained a symbol of ultimate power and enigma. Alex, upon learning about Godish and his involvement in the creation of these inter-dimensional breaches, grew increasingly curious about the Orb. The Orb, which was tied intrinsically to the Dark Aether, and by extension, the undead and Godish himself, became a focal point of his investigation.

Godish Zeus, on the other hand, realized that his godly plans were no longer his alone to control. The Operators, especially Alex, had become variables in an equation he had yet to solve fully. Whether the Dark Aether Orb would serve as a tool for salvation or an instrument of devastation was a question that loomed large in the minds of both Godish and Alex. The struggle for control over the Orb and, consequently, the Dark Aether itself, became an urgent, multi-faceted battle—a confrontation whose outcome would determine the fate of multiple realms.

With the Dark Aether Orb at the crux of this escalating conflict, both parties were painfully aware that their next moves would dictate not just their destinies, but the very fabric of reality itself.

Escaping the Dark Aether: The Device and the Return to the Overworld[edit | edit source]

The Operators had been tirelessly working to understand the enigmatic devices they found in various locations within the Dark Aether—Der Palace, Der Bruch, and the Lobby. After decrypting and assembling scattered schematics, they succeeded in constructing a device that acted as a dimensional stabilizer, possibly a counter to the Dark Aether Orb's chaotic energies. Through trial and error, they managed to harness its potential to create a stable portal back to their home realm, the Overworld. Their escape wasn't just a physical journey but also an affirmation that even the most otherworldly, godly energies could be challenged by human ingenuity.

Using the Runes: Box World and the Rune Code[edit | edit source]

Sam Fuller and Max were aware that the danger wasn't over. What was once the Undead Forest had now been transformed into a surreal, labyrinthine world they termed "Box World." Within its twists and turns, they discovered cryptic runes—a code that held the key to severing the link between the Light Realm (their home world) and the Dark Aether.

Despite their previous failure to induce the explosion of the Dark Aether, which was intended to permanently close the portal, they knew that understanding these runes could provide them with another way to neutralize the Dark Aether's influence. Just as they were delving into the code, a silhouette materialized behind them. Composed of red particles but taking a human form, it was Alex Fuller. He reunited with his wife, Sam, in a poignant moment that underscored the high stakes of their mission.

Reunion and Confrontation: Sealing the Portal[edit | edit source]

Joining forces, Alex, Dextor, Tommy, and Max focused their efforts on confronting Godish Zeus, who had been surveilling them using his Dark Aether-derived abilities. A skirmish ensued, with Godish using his powers to evade capture. Although he managed to flee, the team's combined efforts successfully manipulated the Dark Aether energies, perhaps through a device or mechanism related to the Dark Aether Orb itself, to seal the unstable portals.

Realizing the dangers of leaving any trace of their knowledge and activities, the group collectively decided to go into hiding. Their purpose was two-fold: first, to continue studying the Dark Aether Orb's powers and vulnerabilities in secrecy, and second, to prepare for any retaliation from Godish or other entities connected to the Dark Aether.

The Uncertain Future: Dark Aether Orb's Role[edit | edit source]

The Dark Aether Orb continued to be a shadowy figure in the unfolding drama. Its energies had empowered Godish, fueled the Pack-a-Punch machine, and been instrumental in the formation of the Dark Aether. Yet, it had also been a source of vulnerability, as the Operators had utilized devices that countered its energies to escape and seal the portals. This duality brought into question the nature of the Orb itself. Was it a neutral entity whose energies could be harnessed for both creation and destruction? Or did it possess an inherent purpose or malevolence that still had to be discovered?

As Godish retreated to reconsider his strategies, he couldn't shake off the realization that his plans were no longer absolute. The Dark Aether Orb, though a wellspring of almost god-like power, had limitations that could be exploited. Likewise, the Operators, though in hiding, kept the Orb at the center of their ongoing research, acutely aware that the key to defeating Godish—and perhaps understanding the very fabric of their reality—was intrinsically tied to unlocking the Orb's deepest secrets.

In this convoluted tapestry of realms, godly ambitions, human tenacity, and cosmic enigmas, the Dark Aether Orb remained an inscrutable cornerstone. The next chapter in this cosmic struggle would undoubtedly revolve around controlling its immeasurable power, a quest that could either liberate multiple realities or plunge them into irreversible chaos.

The Death of Godish[edit | edit source]

The tension reached its zenith as the Operators, now unified in purpose and fortified by their arcane knowledge of the Dark Aether Orb, prepared for the ultimate confrontation with Godish Zeus. Through months of intense research and covert operations, they had developed a device capable of neutralizing the Orb's energies. The device would not only strip Godish of his powers but also collapse the portals that linked the Overworld to the Dark Aether, thereby severing the flow of undead monstrosities.

Equipped with their newfound weapon and imbued with resolve, the Operators located Godish's lair—a twisted castle suspended in the fabric of the Dark Aether itself. Godish, realizing the gravity of their intrusion, lashed out with ferocious power, sending waves of dark energy in an attempt to annihilate them. But this time, they were ready. Activating their device, they watched as it absorbed the Dark Aether energies, destabilizing the Orb and weakening Godish's connection to his god-like powers. Seizing the opportunity, Alex unleashed the concentrated light energy stored within the device, directing it towards Godish. With a cataclysmic explosion that resonated through the realms, Godish Zeus was obliterated, and the Dark Aether Orb was neutralized.

The immediate aftermath was nothing short of miraculous. The portals connecting the realms flickered and vanished, stabilizing the dimensions and halting the invasion of undead entities. Back in the Overworld, the Operators were greeted as heroes. Their identities, previously concealed, were now revealed to the world, and they were hailed as "Global Heroes," champions of humanity who had defied godly tyranny to restore cosmic balance.

Global leaders came together to formally recognize their courage and ingenuity. In a grand ceremony attended by dignitaries from across the world, the Operators were bestowed with honors and accolades, cementing their place in history. Amidst the celebration, a sense of relief and finality washed over them. Though many questions about the Dark Aether remained, the immediate threat had been neutralized, and the realms were safe—for now.

However, the universe has a way of filling vacuums. In a secluded laboratory far removed from public eyes, a new life was coming into existence. Dr. Eleanor Shari, a pioneering geneticist, had been following the Operators' struggle with keen interest. Realizing the immense potential of the Dark Aether's residual energies, she had secretly acquired a fragment of the now-neutralized Orb. Combining it with human DNA, she aimed to create a being of unparalleled capabilities—a being that could manipulate both light and dark energies. Thus, Victor Shari was born. Unlike any child, his birth was an amalgamation of science and cosmic mysticism. Though seemingly human, he radiated an aura that subtly hinted at his extraordinary origin.

As the world continued to celebrate the Operators' victory, Dr. Shari looked at her newborn son with a blend of awe and trepidation. Victor was the embodiment of a new frontier of possibility and peril. His abilities, though dormant, could either herald a utopia or perpetuate a cycle of cosmic conflict, depending on how they were harnessed.

Meanwhile, the Operators, unaware of young Victor's existence, reflected on their journey. They had faced down a god, navigated realms of unfathomable complexity, and emerged victorious. Yet, each knew that the universe was a far larger and more mysterious tapestry than they had ever imagined. The Dark Aether Orb, now neutralized but not destroyed, remained a silent enigma, its ultimate purpose and origin still shrouded in mystery.

As they looked up at the night sky, a mosaic of stars and galaxies, they couldn't help but ponder what other secrets lay hidden in the cosmic abyss. Their journey had ended, but the saga of the realms, now intertwined with the enigmatic Dark Aether energies and the emergence of Victor Shari, was far from over.

In that ambiguous serenity, one thing was clear: the tapestry of reality was more intricate and fragile than anyone had ever conceived. And as young Victor took his first breaths in a world still ignorant of his existence, that tapestry began to weave its next complex pattern, waiting for the moment when destinies would once again converge in a dance of light and shadow.

The Orb’s Resurrection[edit | edit source]

On June 17, 1986, Captain John Price led a specialized team of operators into the facility where the Dark Aether Orb had once been neutralized. The objective was a recon mission; the public had dubbed this place a "cursed site" after it had gone eerily silent. What they found sent shockwaves through the team—lifeless bodies of the World Heroes, the renowned Operators who had defeated Godish and saved humanity, were strewn about the chamber. No weapons or devices capable of causing such lethal harm were found, making the scene all the more unsettling.

Price, deeply disturbed but maintaining his composure, turned to his trusted friend and fellow operator, Soap MacTavish. "Hey, we're done here. We're leaving," he declared in a decisive tone. Soap nodded in agreement. As they moved to exit, their confident strides were interrupted by a seismic rumble that shook the facility.

Suddenly, an explosion of purple energy erupted from the location where the Dark Aether Orb had once been kept. The force was so overwhelming that both Price and Soap were hurled through the air like ragdolls, tumbling uncontrollably. Death seemed inevitable.

Just then, as if summoned by fate, Sergei Ravenov appeared out of nowhere. Using what appeared to be some sort of anti-gravitational device, he arrested their violent trajectories, pulling them safely to the ground. "What the hell are ya' doin', ya fools! You could've been killed!" Ravenov exclaimed, barely masking his own shock.

Regaining their composure but not their understanding of the situation, Price, Soap, and Ravenov suddenly found themselves encircled by hordes of the undead. These weren't just any zombies; they emanated an aura of otherworldly menace, likely reanimated by the residual energies of the Dark Aether Orb.

The three operators fell into a defensive formation. Price and Soap unleashed a hail of bullets, while Ravenov expertly tossed explosive devices into the advancing masses. The facility itself seemed to convulse with malevolent energy, as if angry at their resistance.

Through a relentless fight, and with ammunition running critically low, Ravenov found a control panel linked to the facility's lockdown system. "Cover me!" he yelled as he hacked into the system. Price and Soap redoubled their efforts, taking down zombies that had come perilously close to breaking their defensive line.

With seconds to spare, Ravenov disengaged the lockdown, and an exit door slid open. "Move, move, move!" Price commanded. The trio dashed towards the exit, dodging lunges from the remaining undead and narrowly avoiding the tendrils of Dark Aether energy that seemed to reach out for them.

They emerged into the open air, gasping for breath but alive. The facility’s doors slammed shut behind them, as if the building itself was reluctant to let them go. Ravenov turned to Price and Soap, his face a mixture of relief and consternation. "We need to report this, immediately. The Dark Aether Orb may be neutralized, but its echoes are far from silent."

As they left the perimeter of the accursed facility, they couldn't shake the feeling that they had disturbed something—something that had been better left untouched. Their survival was a small victory, but the emergence of these new undead hordes suggested that the tale of the Dark Aether was far from over.

The Weaponizing[edit | edit source]

Shortly after the harrowing escape of the three Operators—Price, Soap, and Ravenov—a residual burst of portal energy inadvertently resurrects Godish Zeus. With a speed born of malevolent intent, he seizes a nearby device designed to collect the potent energy emitted from the Dark Aether. Wasting no time, he hurls the device into the still-unstable portal. As it crosses the threshold, the device disintegrates into four separate fragments, each creating its own mini-portal.

Standing before the array of newly spawned portals, Godish can't help but grin. His eyes shimmer with dark glee, basking in the accomplishment of not just his rebirth but also the new doorways he's ripped into the fabric of reality. Without a word, he turns and vanishes into the shadowy corridors of the facility.

Meanwhile, at their temporary base of operations, Price and Ravenov sense a shift in the atmosphere—like the subtle but distinct tremor of a chord struck out of tune. Before either of them can put words to their unease, Soap cuts in with palpable urgency. "We have to shut those bloody portals!"

Price and Ravenov nod in agreement. A sense of renewed purpose binds them. They know that the task ahead is perilous, but the grim alternative is an uncontrolled flood of Dark Aether and its monstrous denizens into their world. Price, Ravenov, and Soap move to the center of the room. They put their hands in a pile in the middle, a symbol of their unity and commitment to the mission that lies ahead.

"Going dark!" they shout in unison as they throw their hands into the air, invigorated for the struggle ahead. It's not just a statement of intent but a declaration of war against the encroaching abyss. They know they're likely stepping into a realm of unimaginable horrors, but whatever waits for them in the dark, they're ready to face it. They've fought through undead hordes and survived the malevolent machinations of Godish Zeus before. Now, it's time to put an end to his dark legacy once and for all.

The Shadow Mission[edit | edit source]

In the wake of the harrowing escape from the Dark Aether, an unsettling quiet fills the temporary base where Captain John Price, Soap MacTavish, and Sergei Ravenov find themselves. It's a fragile respite, an interlude in a story far from its conclusion. The malevolent realm of the Dark Aether still looms, an unfinished symphony of horror and chaos that waits for its next movement. Just as the trio begins to catch their breath, Price's encrypted radio buzzes to life.

General Shepherd is on the line, and the urgency in his voice immediately dispels any notion of a prolonged break. "Price, we have a pressing situation. A global threat has emerged, and you're needed to neutralize it."

"Roger that, General," Price replies, a hint of weariness in his voice. "I'd like Soap to be with me on this one."

"Granted. Proceed with the mission. Exercise extreme caution."

As Price and Soap gear up in their transport, still en route to an undisclosed location, the radio buzzes again. Shepherd's voice, graver now, breaks the silence. "Your target is Simon Riley, also known as 'Ghost.'"

The weight of the new mission descends on Price. Ghost was once an ally, someone they had trusted. What series of events had redefined him as a global threat?

Arriving at their destination, Price meets with an intelligence contact, who hands him a dossier containing critical information on Ghost's last known location. The ensuing search through abandoned structures and perilous terrain is both physically and emotionally draining, culminating in an intense firefight with Ghost. Despite their best efforts, Price and Soap are captured and hauled before General Shepherd. Ghost, his face concealed by that signature skull-print balaclava, is unceremoniously handed over to Shepherd's custody.

A Dark Aether God’s Final Fight[edit | edit source]

In the dimly lit, secure medical facility, the atmosphere is heavy with the scent of antiseptic and the unspoken worries of the men in the room. Godish Zeus, the mastermind behind the Dark Aether incident, is found lifeless in another wing of the facility, a development that raises more questions than answers. Captain John Price lies comatose on a medical bed, his vitals displayed on the monitors beside him.

Soap MacTavish stands over Price's inert form, a mix of concern and anger etched into his features. A few steps away, Sergei Ravenov glances down at his wristwatch, but his eyes are far away, as if trying to decode the mysteries of time itself, perhaps contemplating how it could have led them to such a dire point.

Just then, General Shepherd enters a secluded room within the facility. He's there to meet a mysterious figure known only as "The Archivist," a man rumored to possess encyclopedic knowledge of the Dark Aether. As Shepherd steps into the room, The Archivist begins to speak in a voice tinged with gravity.

"General Shepherd, you've come to seek understanding, have you not?"

Shepherd sits down across from him, his eyes stern. "Talk to me about the Dark Aether. Our men have been through hell and back because of it. I need to know what we're dealing with."

The Archivist leans back in his chair and exhales slowly, as though the weight of the knowledge he carries is a physical burden. "The Dark Aether isn't just another realm; it's a festering wound in the fabric of our universe. It harbors malevolent entities, energies, and artifacts, like the Dark Aether Orb. Godish Zeus was a mere puppet tangled in its strings. It's a corrosive influence, one that can manipulate time, space, and even the boundaries between life and death."

Shepherd clenches his jaw. "Then how do we stop it?"

A humorless smile crosses The Archivist's lips. "Stopping the Dark Aether would be like stopping a force of nature. You can't 'stop' it, but perhaps you can contain it. Temporarily, at least."

"So, what's the game plan?"

The Archivist leans in closer. "I can provide you with knowledge—arcane rituals, powerful artifacts, and strategic information. But you must understand, General, the Dark Aether is relentless. The very act of fighting it exacts a terrible cost."

Shepherd rises from his seat, his gaze unwavering. "Then we pay the price."

As Shepherd exits the room, his mind races. The path ahead is fraught with unthinkable dangers, but one thing is certain: this is far from over. The key players in this cosmic drama—Price, Soap, Ravenov, and even the deceased Godish—are all pieces in a much larger puzzle. And somewhere, in the depths of the Dark Aether, the game is still being played.

The Dark Aether Portal Mission[edit | edit source]

As General Shepherd steps out of the clandestine meeting room, his mind is awash with thoughts, strategy, and a lingering sense of trepidation. He takes a moment to scan his secure messages and reads a revealing footnote attached to the briefing of his mysterious informant: Dr. William Peck, a pivotal figure in the shadowy collective known as Omega Group.

In a separate wing of the secure medical facility, Captain John Price stirs, as if pulled back from some abyssal brink by an unrelenting force of will. His eyes flicker open, and for a few disorienting seconds, he surveys the room, locking eyes with Soap MacTavish.

"You're awake, Captain," Soap says, his voice tinged with relief but also urgency.

Price attempts to sit up, his movements sluggish but defiant. "What's the status?"

Soap clears his throat. "You've been in a coma. Godish Zeus is dead, but the Dark Aether remains a threat. Oh, and Ghost—Simon Riley—he's been released. He's back with us."

Price exhales deeply, trying to process this avalanche of information. "Well, that's a whole mess of good and bad news, isn't it?"

Meanwhile, Shepherd's encrypted line buzzes to life, and he picks up the call. It's Peck, the tension in his voice palpable even over the secure line. "General Shepherd, the Dark Aether isn't a situation we can afford to monitor from a distance. We have to act. And I propose we act together."

Shepherd considers the proposition carefully. He knows that the Omega Group, often mired in morally dubious operations, is not exactly an ideal ally. But sometimes, as the adage goes, the enemy of your enemy is your friend. "All right, Peck. We work together, but understand that we're doing this to save lives and preserve the stability of both realms. Nothing else."

Peck's voice becomes a notch colder. "Understood, General. I'll begin by sharing crucial intelligence we've gathered."

Back in the medical facility, Price rises to his feet, steadying himself against the bed. "Get the team ready," he says to Soap. "We've got a realm to save, old friends to trust, and new allies to scrutinize."

As Shepherd starts receiving the Omega Group's data and Price's team braces for whatever hellish ordeal awaits them, they all silently acknowledge one immutable truth: they are hurtling toward an uncertain destiny, balanced precariously on the knife-edge of hope and despair. But for now, it's all hands on deck, as the machinations to contain the Dark Aether escalate into a global operation with an ensemble of unlikely heroes.

The Omega Group Part 1[edit | edit source]

As General Shepherd walks through the dimly lit hallways of the Omega Group's clandestine base, he can't help but feel a shiver run down his spine. Despite the ostensibly common goal, the alliance between the Omega Group and his own forces is tenuous at best.

He's led into a conference room where Lev Kravchenko and Dr. William Peck are already seated. A vast holographic display of the Earth and various points of interest hovers above the table, casting eerie reflections on their faces.

Peck gets straight to the point. "General Shepherd, I'd like to introduce you to Colonel Lev Kravchenko, the director of the Omega Group."

Kravchenko stands up and extends his hand. "General. A pleasure."

Shepherd nods and shakes the hand but holds Kravchenko's gaze. "Let's cut to the chase. What happened with the Forsaken?"

Kravchenko clears his throat, visibly uncomfortable. "We had the Forsaken contained, but there was a betrayal from a group known as Requiem. They took over our operations and we lost control."

Shepherd listens intently, his face betraying nothing but his eyes scanning for any flicker of deceit in Kravchenko's expression. "Alright. Despite the internal politics, we're here to deal with a global threat. I'm still committed to that cause."

Peck chimes in, "Excellent. We'll pool our resources immediately and work out a strategy."

As Shepherd and Peck leave the room, Kravchenko walks over to a wall and scans his retina. A hidden panel slides open, revealing a vault. From it, he removes six tubes filled with pulsating Dark Aether energy. These aren't just tubes; they're essentially apocalyptic vials. Smashing even one could unleash untold devastation on a global scale.

Kravchenko gazes at the tubes momentarily, a grim look settling on his face. Whatever game he's playing, it's clear that the stakes are much higher than Shepherd, or even Peck, can imagine. Is this an insurance policy for Omega, or does Kravchenko have darker intentions? The colonel carefully places the tubes back into the vault, sealing it as securely as it was hidden.

Meanwhile, Shepherd strides back to his secure vehicle, lost in thought. His gut tells him that Omega is not being entirely truthful, but for now, the alliance is a necessary evil. As he climbs into the backseat, he picks up a secure line and dials Captain John Price.

"Price, it's Shepherd. We're moving on a joint operation with Omega Group. I don't trust them, but we don't have a choice. Get your team ready. We're stepping into the lion's den."

And so, in various corners of the world and realms beyond, wheels are set in motion. The fragile alliance teeters on the precipice of catastrophe, with the fate of not just one, but multiple worlds hanging in the balance.

The Omega Group Part 2[edit | edit source]

Within the confines of a secure, nondescript room, an atmosphere thick with tension hovers between Dr. William Peck and Colonel Lev Kravchenko. The hidden lair seems to almost pulsate with the weight of the secrets it harbors. Both men, ostensibly allies, are at the precipice of a confrontation that could fracture their fragile alliance.

Kravchenko's eyes narrow, his fingers gripping the edge of the table. "What about the tubes?" he inquires, almost as if daring Peck to keep them from him.

Peck's face flushes red, his eyes ablaze. He bolts up from his chair, slamming his fists onto the table. "Those tubes are not some playthings! They could annihilate worlds!"

Kravchenko's face turns an even deeper shade of red. "Don't you dare raise your voice at me, you sniveling cur!" He lunges forward, seizing Peck by the throat and pinning him against the wall. "You will obey me. Otherwise, I'll have you confined in a cell with a corpse for company. Understand?"

Peck's eyes widen; he's visibly shaken, gasping for breath. The tension reaches a fever pitch — but is cut abruptly as the door bursts open. Captain John Price strides in, his eyes meeting both men's in quick succession.

"You both need to get a grip. We're soldiers, not schoolboys throwing a tantrum. Our mission is to deal with the Dark Aether. Are we clear?"

Both men pause, locking eyes for a moment longer before their better judgment prevails. They nod, their faces softening — but only just.

"Very well," Kravchenko says, releasing Peck and retaking his seat. "Let's focus on the mission at hand."

Outside the room, unbeknownst to the trio, General Shepherd leans against the wall, a pensive expression clouding his features. In his hand, he holds a tube filled with the same enigmatic Dark Aether energy. What Shepherd plans to do with it is unclear, but the volatile substance, humming softly in its vial, could be the key to either salvation or utter ruin.

Shepherd contemplates the glowing vial for a moment more before carefully stowing it away in a concealed compartment of his jacket. His gaze turns steely as he prepares to rejoin the others. Whatever game Kravchenko and Peck are playing, Shepherd is making his own moves, unbound by allegiance to any but the mission at hand — stopping the Dark Aether at all costs.

The uneasy alliance continues to hold, but the palpable tension in the room reveals the fragility of this union. Each player in this high-stakes game has their own agenda, and as they navigate this perilous landscape, the looming threat of the Dark Aether serves as a grim reminder: they must find a way to collaborate, or risk letting the darkness consume them all.

Dark Aether Shards[edit | edit source]

On July 16th, 2023, Victor Shari orchestrates a high-stakes operation in Azariah, an obscure town seemingly lost to time and geography. Azariah harbors a grim secret: it is the site of a clandestine prison, constructed in the 1970s, whose purpose has remained a mystery until now. Victor, accompanied by his resourceful accomplice Jackson, instigates a chaotic shootout with the local police force. Their bullets and bravado sow confusion as they navigate through narrow alleyways and abandoned hallways in the heart of the town.

Their target: a hidden wall they had painstakingly identified through prior research. With the precision of seasoned criminals, they demolish the wall, revealing the long-concealed prison. The sight that greets them is horrifying, yet intriguing—six lifeless bodies lay in a row, each with an expression of torment frozen on their faces. But the most shocking discovery lies in a well-protected vault within the prison: four tubes containing shards of an enigmatic material known as Dark Aether.

Gripped by a mix of awe and apprehension, Victor carefully places the tubes containing the Dark Aether Shards into a specialized, portable case. The pair then prepare to make their hasty retreat. However, as they exit the hidden chamber, they realize that the odds have turned against them. The local police force has gained the upper hand in the ongoing skirmish and has inflicted heavy casualties on Victor and Jackson's crew. To make matters worse, Victor sustains a gunshot wound to his leg, hampering their escape.

In a desperate bid to tilt the scales, Victor opens the portable case and, with a flick of his wrist, tosses one of the Dark Aether Shards high into the air. Jackson takes the wheel of their getaway car, and they accelerate, tires screeching against the asphalt. The moment the Dark Aether Shard crashes back to Earth, it detonates in a spectacular explosion.

Approximately seventeen seconds later, the battlefield undergoes an unspeakable transformation. Previously deceased soldiers stir to life with an unnatural vigor, while those who had been alive only moments before clutch their heads in agony, their eyes shifting to an unsettling yellow hue. Maddened and transformed, they turn on each other with feral intensity. They have become something less than human, something horrifying—Zombies.

Amidst this apocalyptic backdrop, Victor leans back in the car seat, his face lit by the eerie glow emanating from the remaining Dark Aether Shards. With a grim smile, he turns to Jackson and declares, "We've just discovered a new weapon—one that promises to redefine the future of warfare."

And so, in that chilling moment, the duo speed away from Azariah, leaving behind not just a town, but a world forever altered by the malevolent power they have unleashed.

Operation Z[edit | edit source]

On a covert aircraft streaking through the night sky, John Price, Soap MacTavish, and Sergei Ravenov convene in an atmosphere fraught with tension and purpose. The interior of the plane is dimly lit, casting long shadows over maps, weapons, and intelligence files scattered across a makeshift table. Price, a grizzled veteran with eyes that have seen too much, breaks the silence.

"Gentlemen, we've got a job to do, and it's unlike any we've ever faced," he begins, setting the tone for the gravity of the mission. "We've got an undead horde on the move, and it's threatening to spread like wildfire across the globe. We can't afford to let that happen."

Soap, his face marked by a combination of youthful vigor and battle-worn maturity, nods solemnly. He has been designated as the co-leader for the operation, a role he accepts with the understanding that this mission is far from conventional warfare. His sharp instincts and unparalleled combat skills are going to be tested in unimaginable ways.

"Sergei," Price continues, turning his attention to Ravenov, "you've had firsthand experience dealing with this kind of anomaly. You're the best man to lead this operation."

Ravenov, a Russian operative with a grizzled appearance that masks an astute intellect, nods in acknowledgment. His past dealings with similar outbreaks of undead forces have prepared him, albeit grimly, for the task at hand. "I understand the risks and the enormity of what we are up against," he says, his voice tinged with a Slavic accent. "Rest assured, we will stop this threat, no matter what it takes."

The aircraft descends, its landing gear making contact with an undisclosed airstrip in a remote location. The back hatch of the plane opens, revealing an arsenal of advanced weaponry—firearms, explosives, and even some experimental tech that could be the key to stopping the undead menace. But, among the armaments, are vials of a classified serum and what appear to be blueprints for deploying an electromagnetic pulse (EMP). These are just contingencies, but they underline the seriousness of what they are about to undertake.

As they disembark, Price takes a moment to lock eyes with each of his comrades. "We're not just fighting for ourselves, or our countries. We're fighting for humanity," he emphasizes. "This is our Alamo, our last stand. Failure isn't an option."

Soap and Ravenov acknowledge the weight of his words, each man fully aware that the mission ahead is a pivot upon which the fate of the world might turn. As they load up their gear and make their final preparations, the air around them thickens with a palpable sense of urgency. The trio sets out, stepping into an uncertain landscape where nightmares roam free, but where heroes are forged in the crucible of unimaginable challenges.

Thus, with each man in his respective role—Ravenov as the experienced leader, Soap as the capable co-leader, and Price as the seasoned warrior and moral compass—they venture into the abyss, united in their resolve to halt the undead apocalypse that threatens to engulf the world.

The Forest of the Dead[edit | edit source]

On September 19th, 2023, Victor Shari and his accomplice Jackson find themselves navigating the labyrinthine depths of a haunting landscape known as the Forest of the Dead. The forest, shrouded in a sense of foreboding and palpable malevolence, seems almost sentient, as if aware of the terrible power that Victor now wields. It's a far cry from Azariah, the small, inconspicuous town where Victor first acquired the Dark Aether Shards, but the ramifications of that earlier action loom large over both men.

Victor learns through clandestine channels that the infection he unleashed in July has already achieved catastrophic proportions. Azariah is no more; it has been reduced to an uninhabitable wasteland teeming with the undead. The news fills him with a complex mix of dread and satisfaction. The potential of the Dark Aether Shards to reshape the world—either as a weapon of uncontrolled destruction or as a tool for imposing a new, dark order—is no longer theoretical. It is a terrifying reality.

Jackson, sensing both the urgency of the situation and the unprecedented opportunity it presents, proposes an audacious plan. "We need to extend what we started in Azariah to other states," he urges, his eyes flashing with a mix of fanaticism and cold logic. "If we control the outbreak, we control the world."

However, before Victor can fully consider the ethical and tactical implications of such a widespread contagion, their conversation is abruptly interrupted. Emerging from the forest's dense undergrowth, John Price, Soap MacTavish, and Sergei Ravenov surround them, weapons drawn and faces etched with resolve.

Price, the seasoned veteran, breaks the silence. "Victor Shari, you're playing with fire you can't possibly understand. Surrender now, and we may still have a chance to contain this."

Victor, displaying an almost unsettling level of calm, responds by revealing an unexpected trump card. "You underestimate me, Price. What if I told you that I've found the key to controlling the undead? The balance of power just shifted."

For a split second, Price and his Task Force are visibly shaken, forced to consider the terrible possibility that Victor might be telling the truth. It's a gamble, but the stakes are too high. Realizing that they may be outmaneuvered—at least for the moment—Price signals his team to fade back into the forest shadows.

Victor seizes this brief respite as his opportunity for escape. "We'll meet again," he promises, his voice tinged with both menace and certainty, as he and Jackson melt away into the dark labyrinth from which they emerged.

As Price, Soap, and Ravenov regroup, they come to a grim consensus. Victor's audacious claim—whether a bluff or a terrifying reality—cannot be ignored. For the moment, discretion is the better part of valor. The Task Force retreats, not in defeat, but to prepare for the inevitable confrontation that looms ahead.

And so, Victor and Jackson continue their journey, emboldened and one step closer to implementing a master plan that could either enslave humanity or plunge it into unending chaos. The Task Force, meanwhile, goes into hiding to strategize and muster the resources needed for a conflict that will determine the fate of the world. In that eerie forest, a precarious balance hangs, a pause in a struggle between light and shadow, order and anarchy—a struggle that is far from over.

The Duplications[edit | edit source]

After their harrowing encounter with Victor and Jackson, John Price, Soap MacTavish, and Sergei Ravenov immediately set about assessing the damage wrought upon the Forest of the Dead. With every step deeper into the abyss of twisted trees and foreboding silence, they uncover layers of a dark history that transcends their worst nightmares. The Forest, it seems, was no stranger to abominations.

Ravenov, sifting through fragmented intelligence reports and wartime archives that he had previously committed to memory, pieces together a horrifying revelation. "This outbreak, this abomination—it has roots reaching back to 1945. The forest served as a kind of nexus during the Second World War. A mysterious portal here did the same thing back then. Zombies...they originated here, in a twisted byproduct of war and arcane science."

Price and Soap exchange glances, suddenly comprehending the depth and complexity of the malevolent forces they are up against. They realize that they're not merely facing the outcome of Victor's recent actions, but a recurring cycle of apocalyptic proportions that could have been rehearsing its chaos for decades.

Finally, a helicopter, its blades cutting through the heavy, humid air, touches down in a clearing. The trio board and ascend into the sky, leaving behind the forest but carrying with them the heavy burden of their newfound knowledge. As the helicopter stabilizes, they find themselves joined by Kate Laswell, a high-ranking CIA officer whose analytical acumen could prove invaluable in the battles to come.

"We've been monitoring your progress," she says grimly. "Victor Shari has gone beyond being a mere rogue element. This is a multi-dimensional threat. We need to act—now."

Fraying Sanity: The Unraveling of Victor Shari[edit | edit source]

Meanwhile, Victor Shari is experiencing a transformation of his own, although of a far more insidious nature. Holed up in a hidden laboratory, he and Jackson have embarked on a dangerously ambitious project: duplicating the Dark Aether substance that caused the initial outbreak.

Yet something is beginning to go terribly wrong. As they manipulate the volatile Dark Aether, Victor starts to hear voices—indistinct at first, but gradually becoming clearer, more insistent. These phantom whispers claw at the edges of his sanity, planting seeds of doubt, fear, and unspeakable desires.

Amidst the escalating chaos in his mind, Victor's eyes suddenly glow an eerie shade of purple. Consumed by an uncontrollable rage and lost in a labyrinth of confusion, he lashes out at the only other living being in the room—Jackson. With a swift, almost involuntary motion, Victor ends the life of his longtime accomplice.

The glow fades from his eyes as quickly as it appeared, leaving Victor standing alone amidst the machinery and vials of dark substance, staring in horror at what he has just done. Jackson's lifeless body slumps on the floor, a victim not just of Victor's momentary madness, but of the incomprehensible forces they both sought to harness.

As the echoes of the voices recede into an unsettling silence, Victor is left to contemplate the catastrophic path he has chosen. His intentions, once driven by a twisted but focused vision of power and control, now lie shattered amidst the ruins of his own sanity. In that fateful moment, he comes to a terrible realization: he might be losing control over the very forces he sought to master, and the darkness within him could be as potent and unpredictable as the Dark Aether itself.

The Dark Aether Unleashed[edit | edit source]

A week of unrestrained destruction, hearing disembodied voices, and madly duplicating Dark Aether Shards culminates in a cataclysmic event for Victor Shari. Through an arcane ritual guided by the malevolent whispers in his mind, he finds himself hurled into the Dark Aether itself—a shadowy, twisted dimension that defies all laws of physics and logic.

In this abyss, Victor's fractured psyche is reflected in the warped landscape around him, full of aberrant monstrosities and surreal architectures. But even within this nightmare realm, a glimmer of reason intrudes. He encounters what appears to be an undead version of Jackson, his murdered accomplice, who delivers an unsettling message: Victor must find a way to redeem himself if he's ever to escape the Dark Aether.

Haunted by Jackson's words and spurred by a newfound sense of urgency, Victor embarks on a perilous quest to locate a portal, the only conceivable way to return to his own world. With each step, he grapples with his own demons—both metaphorical and terrifyingly real—as he navigates the labyrinthine horrors of this forsaken dimension.

A Clash of Wills: Bravo Six Home Base[edit | edit source]

Simultaneously, on the other side of reality, John Price, Soap MacTavish, and Sergei Ravenov touch down at Bravo Six, their home base of operations. They are welcomed by Kate Laswell, who has been tirelessly working on plans to neutralize the undead outbreak that Victor had set in motion.

"As it stands, we need to find Victor Shari. I've got assets across multiple agencies working on locating him. Once we do, we neutralize him. Permanently," Laswell outlines, her voice edged with determination.

As she concludes, General Shepard strides into the room, exuding an aura of authority and command. Without preamble, he demands, "This mission is too critical. You're all compromised. Stand down and let me take over."

Price rises to his feet, his eyes locking onto Shepard's with an intensity that could cut glass. "Shepard, I don't care how many stars you have on your shoulder; you're not taking this mission from us," he growls, his words laced with an undisguised threat.

Shepard bristles but holds Price's gaze. "Don't make me relieve you of your duties, Price."

Price leans in, lowering his voice to a deadly whisper. "If you interfere, you won't be worrying about my duties; you'll be worrying about your own survival."

The tension in the room is palpable, a taut wire on the verge of snapping. Shepard finally relents, realizing perhaps that the battle-hardened resolve of these men is not something to be trifled with. "Very well," he concedes, retreating with a reluctant nod.

With the crisis averted, Price, Soap, Ravenov, and Laswell refocus on the matter at hand. They're fighting not just to contain a horrific outbreak, but also to stop a man whose ambitions have transcended human understanding, plunging him into dimensions of unspeakable horror.

Both parties, unknown to each other, are on quests that will determine not just their fates but the fate of reality itself. Victor, wandering in the twisted depths of the Dark Aether, and Price's team, fortified in their earthly base, prepare for confrontations that are both inevitable and unimaginable. Time is running out, and the boundaries separating the worlds are weakening. Soon, they must face each other—and the darkness within and around them—in a final, apocalyptic clash.

The Escape[edit | edit source]

Emerging from the swirling darkness of the portal, Victor finds himself in the most unexpected of locations—the heart of Bravo Six Base. His sudden appearance catches the entire facility off guard, including General Shepard, who is the first to confront him. "Victor Shari, you are under arrest for crimes against humanity. Surrender now," Shepard orders, his hand hovering over the holster of his sidearm.

Victor, however, is a changed man—or perhaps more accurately, a changed entity. With an almost dismissive gesture, he harnesses the energies he's absorbed from the Dark Aether. A pulse of dark energy emanates from him, and Shepard is instantly incinerated, reduced to a smoldering pile of ashes within seconds.

Taking advantage of the chaos and shock, Victor vanishes into the labyrinthine corridors of the base. Alarms blare, red lights flash, and personnel scramble. Price, Soap, and Ravenov, alerted to the situation, grab their gear and set out to find Victor. But as they navigate the twisting passageways, they find themselves ambushed by a horde of the undead—warped soldiers who had been stationed at the base but are now under Victor's malevolent influence.

With a combination of tactical skill, coordinated firepower, and a dash of desperate courage, they manage to break free from the undead onslaught. Regrouping in a secure control room, they are greeted by a solemn Kate Laswell on the video screen. "I've analyzed the data, and what we're dealing with here isn't human anymore," Laswell begins, her voice tinged with both awe and fear. "Victor has been fundamentally altered by his exposure to the Dark Aether. He's a sentient entity with capabilities we can't fully understand. He can warp reality itself, it seems."

Price slams his fist on the table, clearly angered by the turn of events but also resolute. "Then we find a way to stop him, entity or not."

As they discuss their next steps, Sergei Ravenov receives a direct communication on a secured frequency. It's a set of coordinates, sent anonymously but with a text message: "End it here." Recognizing the potential trap but also seeing it as an opportunity, Ravenov chooses to go alone, informing Price and Soap of his intentions. "If I don't return, you know what must be done," he says, a gravitas filling his voice as he exits the control room.

Ravenov arrives at the location, a dimly lit chamber deep within the base. There, he finds Victor, or the entity that Victor has become—his eyes glowing an eerie shade of purple, an aura of Dark Aether energy pulsing around him. "Victor, you don't have to do this," Ravenov implores, his gun holstered as a gesture of goodwill. "Let us help you. There's still a part of you that's human."

For a moment, something flickers in Victor's eyes, a brief glimmer of his old self. But it's quickly overtaken by the malevolent force that now controls him. "I am beyond redemption, Sergei," he intones, his voice layered with otherworldly reverberations. "And so is this world."

Before Ravenov can react, Victor raises his hand and conjures another portal, stepping through it and vanishing, leaving behind a heavy air of menace and an uncertain fate for the world. As Ravenov returns to brief Price and Soap on the unfortunate outcome, they all understand that the stakes have changed irreversibly.

Victor is not just a rogue agent or a terrorist. He's a cosmic threat, a being imbued with the incomprehensible energies of another dimension. The battle to come will not be just for control of nations or geopolitical dominance; it will be a fight for the very fabric of reality itself. And time is running out.

Fixing the Damage[edit | edit source]

As the trio of seasoned warriors—Price, Soap, and Ravenov—regroup in a high-security conference room within the Bravo Six Base, their attention turns to the data displayed on multiple screens. Among the complex algorithms and multi-layered schematics, a glimmer of hope emerges. They discover that the undead seem to be susceptible to specific frequencies of radio waves—energies that disrupt the dark forces animating them.

Working tirelessly with a team of the base's best scientists and engineers, they devise a new kind of weapon—a large-scale, mobile radio-wave emitter capable of targeting these specific frequencies. Weeks of testing, modifying, and re-testing culminate in a series of successful field tests. Before long, they deploy these emitters at multiple locations, strategically turning them on in synchronized pulses.

The result is nothing short of miraculous. One by one, the hordes of undead, which had been marauding across the countryside and devouring everything in their path, begin to collapse. It's as if the puppet strings animating them are being cut, causing them to crumble into inert heaps. Over the course of several grueling weeks, Price, Soap, and Ravenov manage to drastically reduce the zombie threat, reclaiming swathes of territory and giving humanity a fighting chance.

With the undead largely neutralized, their focus narrows down to the origin of this apocalyptic scenario—Victor. Kate Laswell, appearing once more on the video screen, delivers a chilling verdict: "Gentlemen, as much as we might hope for a non-lethal solution, it's increasingly clear that Victor must be terminated. His very existence threatens to unravel the fabric of our reality."

Ravenov rises, his expression solemn. "And beyond Victor, there is the greater issue—the Dark Aether Shards. They are the Pandora's Box that started all this. We must find a way to neutralize them, to ensure that such a catastrophe can never happen again."

Nods of agreement fill the room. The stakes are clear, and the next steps, while perilous, are also inevitable. As they adjourn the meeting, each man feels the weight of the tasks that lie ahead.

Soap is the first to speak, breaking the thick tension. "We've tackled difficult missions before, but this is uncharted territory, even for us. We're not just fighting against an enemy; we're fighting against a force we barely understand."

Price locks eyes with each of his comrades, a quiet intensity in his gaze. "Then let's make sure we understand it enough to put an end to this nightmare. We've held the line against the undead. Now, we focus on Victor. And after him, the Dark Aether Shards."

And with that final declaration, they set off, armed with a new arsenal, fortified by newfound knowledge, and united by the gravity of their mission. They may be venturing into the unknown, a battle against incomprehensible cosmic forces, but one thing is certain: they are the last, best hope for a world on the brink.

The Final Battle[edit | edit source]

The sound of gunfire and explosions reverberates through the dark, twisted landscape, a nightmarish tableau filled with hordes of undead and swirling vortexes of Dark Aether. Price, Soap, Ravenov, and Kate Laswell are in the thick of it, their ammunition running low and their faces etched with the fatigue of relentless combat. The objective is clear yet almost insurmountable: take down Victor, now a horrifying entity with power over the undead and the ability to manipulate the very fabric of reality.

In a moment of frenzied courage, the team breaks through a wall of undead to reach Victor, who stands surrounded by an aura of dark energy. His eyes, now a glowing shade of purple, meet theirs with a malevolent gaze. "It's over, Victor," Price shouts, aiming his weapon at the corrupted man. Victor laughs, a sound that sends shivers down their spines, and mutters an incantation. The air vibrates, and for a moment, it seems as if the world itself is about to tear apart.

But just as the Dark Aether energy gathers around Victor, ready to unleash a devastating blow, Ravenov steps forward and pulls out an artifact imbued with specific radio-waves they had discovered could neutralize Dark Aether. With a prayer and a push of a button, the artifact activates, sending out a pulse that disrupts Victor's concentration and weakens him considerably. Seizing the moment, Price fires the decisive shot. Victor screams as the bullet, coated with a specialized material designed to counteract Dark Aether, pierces his heart. His form disintegrates into an ethereal mist, which is rapidly sucked into a closing Dark Aether portal. Victor is gone.

The team members take a moment to catch their breath, the magnitude of what they've accomplished washing over them. But there's little time for respite. They are soon met by Nikolai Belinski, who appears in a teleportation flash. He's a wizened old man now, his face lined with the wisdom and regrets of a long, complex life. "Ah, you have succeeded. I wish we met under different circumstances," he says, a note of sorrow in his voice.

Nikolai takes them to a secure chamber where he recounts the haunting tale of his own involvements with the Dark Aether back in the 1970s and 1980s. "And the most regrettable mistake was in 1980," he confesses, looking each of them in the eye. "A young Victor was exposed to the Dark Aether because of my actions. It was unintentional, but the chain of events it set off culminated in today's horrors."

The room goes silent. The weight of a generation’s worth of mistakes and the cost of today’s victory lay heavy on everyone's shoulders. "Then this is the cycle completed," Price finally says, his voice tinged with solemnity. "Victor is gone, but let his end be a cautionary tale for us all. Let's make sure this never happens again."

Nikolai nods in agreement. "Yes, it ends here, for all of us."

As the year 2024 rolls on, the team disbands, each going their separate ways, but united in their silent vow to guard against the dark horrors they've faced. Their tale, full of valor, sacrifice, and grim lessons, draws to a close, leaving the world in an uneasy but hopeful peace. The Dark Aether portals are sealed, the undead are neutralized, and the heroes walk away scarred but wiser. Their story does not lead to another chapter, another fight, another crisis. It simply ends, letting the world take its first tentative steps into a future free from the looming threat of multidimensional catastrophe.

Elder God Saga[edit | edit source]

The Death of the Conqueror[edit | edit source]

The Creation of the Artifacts[edit | edit source]

Thousands of years ago, powerful beings known as "Elder Gods" have been creating powerful items come to be known as "Artifacts", to store their native powers and abilities so that some mortals can weild them if they needed them. There are four gods in the history of the Otherside, Phakldir, Muteus, Vikdur, and the strongest of them all, a nameless entity, but he goes by the nickname "Conqueror". Muteus revealed the truth behind Conqueror being nameless, and revealed he was forbidden of his memories for destroying the earth they were planning to live in, but thankfully Conqueror managed to restore it with the help of Muteus.

During a mission within the Otherside, Conqueror became certain that with his new growing powers, he had become strong enough to rule the entire group of Gods. However, soon enough, Muteus had destroyed Conqueror's powerful rage, sending him away to the Otherside, a place of nothingless and pure evil. The three remaining Gods decide to use his Artifact to remake thier lives, and then put away the Artifact for good keeping, to make sure it's not in anyones way to corrupt anyone.

Trapped for Life[edit | edit source]

Conqueror comes to a realisation that he was lied too, and was put into the Otherside for life for being "injured" and weakened by enemy Demons. He discovers his own memory stones, and uses them to recover his taken memories, but doesn't recover his original name, and decides to plan to escape the Otherside. The remaining three Gods, Muteus, Vikdur and Phakldir agree together that the Artifacts should be remained protected, instead of destroying them to prevent mortal beings from gaining the power and dying. They summon a home department, inside of a temple, so their history isn't exposed by mortal humans.

The New Era Dawn[edit | edit source]

The Gods have been hiding in the temple for the entire time, and Vikdur has been bored for too many years, and decides to go "hunting" on some sort of mission and takes his Artifact with him. Muteus gets angry at him and summons him back in the temple, and threatens to banish him to the Otherside if he disobeys him again. However, Vikdur flees and hides depowers his own Artifact, blocking Muteus from sensing his location. Meanwhile, in the Otherside, Conqueror becomes certain of a way to flee the Otherside and goes to do so, but the plan backfires and removes him of his powers, while in the real world Conqueror's Artifact starts to glow, siganalling Conqueror is using his Artifact, noting that something is happening and Conqueror is trying to flee the Otherside.

World War III[edit | edit source]

Pre-lude[edit | edit source]

Conqueror escapes the Otherside and attacks the world summoning the undead to reign hell over it. The three good side Gods prepare for battle, but stops when Conqueror stops all of the undead soldiers and goes over to talk to the leader of the group, Muteus, who banishes Conqueror and tells him he is not welcome back to the team as he is a traitor to the entire universe.

Finding his Memories[edit | edit source]

After a long break from battle, after managing to use his memory stones he found not long ago, Conqueror manages to locate the memory orb, that he can use to take back his own memories. Conqueror finds out he must get help from some people, so he corrupts a guy, Noah Mad, who successfully overpowers a artifact, and unleashes the Memory Orb, and Conqueror finds out his memories and finds his real name as Kortifex, who then kills Noah, and manages to flee from the Otherside and returns to the Temple, where he reunites with the other three Gods.

Escape the Otherside[edit | edit source]

Kortifex manages to flee from the Otherside and begins to summon the undead into the normal world. Unknowningly to Kortifex, he has locked open a rift, one where unknown power can be unleashed out of into humans. He reveals he now controls a army of the undead, zombies, and other unknown creatures.

Death of Gods[edit | edit source]

After a long war, the three Gods decide in order to take down the Kortifex, by sacrificing themselves, but leaving their Artifacts behind just in-case they're needed again... and are remained dorment, untouched by human hands, and will not be used by anyone for the remainder of the World War II period.
