List of episodes

The tenth and final season of the American superhero television series The Flash, based on the DC Comics character Barry Allen / The Flash. It premiered on August 7, and concluded on October 30, 2025. The season was produced by Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television and DC Entertainment, with Alex Brow serving as showrunner for his third consecutive season.

Grant Gustin reprises his role as Barry Allen / The Flash. As with preceding seasons, the tenth season employs the "Graphic Novel" format, structuring its narrative into multiple self-contained arcs inspired by comic book storytelling. The season consists of 13 episodes, divided into two Graphic Novels and one Interlude, including "Reality War" and "Fault Lines".

The tenth and final season of The Flash consisted of 13 episodes and premiered on August 7, 2025, on The CW, concluding on October 30, 2025. The season opened to 2.31 million viewers, marking a modest increase over the ninth-season finale and reflecting renewed interest driven by its marketing as the series’ final chapter. Viewership declined gradually over the course of the season, stabilizing in the low-to-mid 1.8 million range, with the series finale drawing 2.64 million viewers, the show’s highest-rated episode since its sixth season. The season averaged 1.97 million viewers, finishing as the 146th most-watched broadcast television series of the 2024–25 season. Season 10 received widespread critical acclaim, with critics praising its serialized storytelling, darker tone, and character-focused conclusion, frequently citing it as a significant improvement over the show’s later seasons and one of the strongest final seasons of an Arrowverse series.

Graphic Novel #10: Reality War
1851"Dark-Verse"Marcus StokesThomas PoundAugust 7, 2025 (2025-08-07)T27.15101N/A
A dark-matter surge erupts over Central City as Barry Allen resumes life as the Flash, only to be confronted by John Diggle from an alternate universe wielding a Green Lantern ring, who claims that a version of the Flash on his world became a mass murderer. Diggle attacks Central City and later S.T.A.R. Labs, stating that he is trying to prevent Barry from turning into his counterpart, forcing Barry to question whether his future is predetermined. As Team Flash confirms that the multiverse has re-emerged in a new form, Diggle nearly kills Cisco Ramon before Caitlin Snow intervenes, though Diggle ultimately escapes under mysterious circumstances. Meanwhile, Barry confides in Iris West-Allen about his fear of becoming the version Diggle describes, while Joe West informs him of a separate meta-human threat resembling Eobard Thawne.
1862"The Multiverse Reborn"Danielle PanabakerEmily PalizziAugust 14, 2025 (2025-08-14)T27.15102N/A
Barry balances family life with Iris and Nora while continuing his work as the Flash, but is drawn back into action when Avery Ho suddenly manifests speed powers and reveals that Barry was responsible for creating new speedsters. He brings Avery to S.T.A.R. Labs, where Team Flash begins helping her understand her abilities, while Iris and Chester investigate reports of a Thawne duplicate operating in Keystone City. Diggle resurfaces and confronts Barry again, insisting that Barry will become a killer, and is briefly captured and placed in a meta-cell, where he claims that the Flash from his world wore a yellow suit and was responsible for mass destruction. Barry decides to focus on protecting Central City rather than pursuing Keystone City, but Diggle escapes confinement and launches another attack, during which Avery intervenes and saves Barry, exposing his identity to her. As Team Flash considers the possibility that the reborn multiverse has taken a darker form, Diggle is revealed to be working with Eobard Thawne, who instructs him to proceed to the next phase of their plan.
1873"Welcome to Dark Earth-2"Jeff ByrdLauren FieldsAugust 21, 2025 (2025-08-21)T27.15103N/A
Following the Crisis, a cosmic disturbance reveals a corrupted void where shattered realities are consumed by a living darkness, which recoils when a surge of blue lightning erupts within it. In flashbacks on a darker Earth, Diggle is captured by Thawne after witnessing the death of Oliver and the mass destruction of his world, before being forcibly given a ring to serve Thawne’s plan. In the present, Barry and Team Flash conclude that Diggle’s actions may be tied to a newly formed Dark Multiverse and decide to uncover whether he is being controlled. While Iris and Chester investigate Thawne’s involvement, Barry stops a meta-powered bank robbery to reassure Central City that he will not turn against it, and later encourages Avery when she asks to actively help protect the city. As Team Flash prepares to probe Diggle’s mind for answers, Diggle and Thawne move together toward S.T.A.R. Labs, signaling that their next phase is imminent.
1884"The Choice, Part One"Alexandra La RocheThomas Pound & Emily PalizziAugust 28, 2025 (2025-08-28)T27.15104N/A
Barry begins experiencing temporal instability as S.T.A.R. Labs detects fractures in time centered on him, with Cisco and Caitlin determining that the Speed Force around Barry is changing rather than weakening. At home, Iris notices Barry exhibiting involuntary vibrations and heightened strain, reinforcing the belief that Thawne is deliberately testing him. While investigating the disturbances, Barry stops an unstable meta-human, but briefly manifests darker, unfamiliar lightning during the encounter, alarming him. Avery senses the shift and insists on helping Barry confront whatever is affecting him, as new anomalies continue to emerge. Elsewhere, Thawne pressures Diggle to continue escalating events, convinced Barry will eventually break, while Diggle struggles with doubts about Barry’s true nature. Returning home, Barry discovers Iris and Nora missing and is pulled into the void, where a mysterious entity presents him with a choice by showing them trapped alongside a vision of his darker future self.
1895"The Choice, Part Two"Danielle PanabakerEric WallaceSeptember 4, 2025 (2025-09-04)T27.15105N/A
Barry is forced to confront a living void after Iris and Nora are taken, where a mysterious entity shows him visions of a future in which he becomes a destroyer and demands a choice between saving his family or protecting the city. Diggle intervenes and pulls Barry, Iris, and Nora back to Earth-Prime, warning Barry that the world is already being shaped around him, deepening Barry’s fear that Diggle may be right. Believing his presence endangers his family, Barry leaves Iris and Nora behind and isolates himself, which draws Diggle and Thawne into a direct confrontation. During a three-way battle, Barry defeats Diggle when the ring overwhelms him and vanishes in an explosion, then strips Thawne of his speed and places him into containment. Although Central City is saved and Iris and Nora are safe, Barry realizes that something fundamental within him has changed, while the dark force within the void reacts to his decision, confirming that the conflict is not yet over.
Interlude V
1906"Run it Back"Mob NetworkMob NetworkSeptember 11, 2025 (2025-09-11)T27.15106N/A
A temporal anomaly causes Central City to glitch when Barry’s attempts to correct minor incidents begin duplicating people and objects, forcing Team Flash to determine that his overcorrections are spawning probability echoes rather than stabilizing time. As the situation escalates, a duplicate version of the Flash appears and assists Barry in stopping crimes, complicating efforts to contain the spreading disruptions. While Iris reassures Nora amid the chaos, Avery encounters Max Mercury, who warns her that the city is repeating itself, hinting at broader consequences tied to Barry’s actions. Team Flash concludes that the only way to halt the anomaly is for Barry to stop running and allow events to resolve naturally, which stabilizes the timeline and causes the duplicates to disappear. Although the city returns to normal, a faint residual anomaly remains, suggesting that Barry’s recent choices have left a lasting imprint on reality.
1917"Inheritance"Sara CaseEric Wallace & Freddie GoodwinSeptember 18, 2025 (2025-09-18)T27.15107N/A
Barry and Iris discover that Nora has developed speed abilities, after she accidentally runs through the apartment and explains that everything goes quiet before she moves. At S.T.A.R. Labs, Barry tests Nora’s powers and finds that her speed responds differently than his, with Nora describing it as the “quiet” listening to her, prompting Barry to limit her running and fit her with a speed-dampening bracelet. Barry later takes Nora on a controlled run through different points in time, including the night of his mother’s death and a moment when he sees Nora Allen alive, before returning to the present and warning Nora that time travel leaves echoes. As the hum grows stronger in the cortex, Nora senses it as “footsteps” moving backward, and Barry shuts the systems down to stop the disturbance and decides that she will not time travel again until they understand her connection to time. That night, the Speed Force appears to Nora in the form of Nora Allen and tells her she will never run alone, before appearing to Barry in the hallway and assuring him that Nora is safe. Elsewhere, a sealed CCPD evidence case labeled “WEST, D.” opens in an industrial storage yard, and an unknown man takes a speed-infused vial from inside.
Graphic Novel #11: Fault Lines
1928"Fault Lines"Vanessa PariseJackson Miller & Sam ChalsenSeptember 25, 2025 (2025-09-25)T27.15108N/A
Barry becomes aware of a series of unexplained power fluctuations across Central City after Joe reports multiple equipment failures and evidence-room anomalies with no identifiable cause. At home and later at S.T.A.R. Labs, Nora repeatedly draws intersecting lines and describes a growing sense of pressure beneath the city, identifying the disturbance as something that feels “still” rather than fast. Avery separately discusses the same strain with Max Mercury, who warns that the problem lies beneath everything and cannot be mapped. At S.T.A.R. Labs, Barry confirms that the energy readings do not match the Speed Force, and the Speed Force later appears to him, stating that the fracture is not hers and is the result of consequence rather than time travel or multiversal interference. When Nora indicates that one of her drawn intersections has shifted, Barry traces the disturbance to CCPD evidence storage, where he finds an unmarked metal case vibrating before it abruptly stabilizes on its own. Later, an unidentified man enters the storage facility, places an empty broken speed vial beside the case, and leaves as the case emits a faint internal pulse.
1939"Bloodlines"Freddie GoodwinJonathan Butler & Sarah TarkoffOctober 2, 2025 (2025-10-02)T27.15109N/A
Barry confronts a speed-powered adversary when Daniel West attacks a Central City shipping yard and escapes after revealing knowledge of Iris. Iris and Barry investigate Daniel’s past and identify him as Iris’ cousin, while Wally West arrives in Central City after sensing the disturbance and discusses Daniel’s condition with Barry. Barry later encounters Eddie Thawne within the Negative Speed Force, who explains that Daniel did not exist prior to recent temporal instability and emerged after Barry’s earlier actions to stabilize the city. As robberies carried out by the Rogues draw Barry’s attention, he defeats them during a confrontation in the financial district, while Daniel remains unseen. After Wally departs Central City, Daniel uses an object taken from CCPD evidence to steady himself, and Iris argues that Daniel should be held accountable rather than erased, which Barry accepts.
19410"Extraction"Rachel TalalaySam Chalsen & Christina M. WalkerOctober 9, 2025 (2025-10-09)T27.15110N/A
Daniel breaks into Iron Heights and extracts the speed from August Heart, leaving him depowered before escaping. At Central City Citizen, Iris confronts Allegra for accessing restricted information about Daniel without authorization and removes her from the newsroom, ordering her to leave the city. Barry later confronts Daniel at a power substation, where Daniel overwhelms him during a fight and partially disrupts Barry’s connection to the Speed Force before escaping again. At S.T.A.R. Labs, Caitlin determines that Barry’s speed has been interrupted rather than fully drained, though Barry insists he can continue operating as the Flash. Barry subsequently encounters Eddie within the Negative Speed Force, who warns him that Daniel’s actions have affected Barry’s speed and that continued exertion will worsen the damage. Later, Daniel enters Barry and Iris’ apartment and extracts speed energy from Nora, rendering her unconscious, before taking her with him as Barry arrives moments too late.

After Daniel takes Nora, Barry causes damage inside the apartment during an emotional outburst before Iris intervenes and urges him to focus on finding their daughter. At S.T.A.R. Labs, Barry issues orders to Caitlin and Chester, places Central City under speed-containment protocols, and proceeds with his plan despite Iris objecting to his decisions. Elsewhere, Daniel keeps Nora in an abandoned underground facility and remains close to her while she realizes he is using her presence to maintain stability. Barry locates the facility and repeatedly attacks Daniel, but stops when Daniel states that removing him would cause Nora’s condition to collapse, after which Daniel escapes. Nora is recovered and taken to S.T.A.R. Labs, where Caitlin confirms that her speed is suppressed but unstable. While Iris stays with Nora, Barry activates the cosmic treadmill and runs beyond safe limits, causing a citywide speed disturbance as Daniel senses the surge.
19612"The Flash Unleashed, Part 2"Geoff ShotzFreddie GoodwinOctober 23, 2025 (2025-10-23)T27.15112N/A
Daniel undergoes a physical transformation that causes a speed shockwave across Central City. Barry confronts him in the industrial district, where Daniel defeats Barry in a fight and escapes. At S.T.A.R. Labs, Barry admits to Caitlin, Chester, and Iris that his recent actions placed them at risk, while Eddie appears physically outside the Negative Speed Force and states that Daniel cannot be stopped from within it. After the city is evacuated, Daniel emerges at a speed vortex in downtown Central City, where Barry confronts him alongside Eddie and Nora, whose speed has been restored by the Speed Force. During the battle, Nora enters Daniel’s body as Barry runs at extreme speed to destabilize the vortex, resulting in Daniel’s disintegration. Eddie dissipates shortly afterward, stating that his time is over. In the aftermath, Caitlin confirms that Nora’s connection to the Speed Force is stable and that Barry’s speed has been reduced, as Barry continues operating as the Flash.
19713"Run Free"Freddie GoodwinFreddie Goodwin & Eric WallaceOctober 30, 2025 (2025-10-30)T27.15113N/A
Barry informs Caitlin, Chester, Iris, and Nora at S.T.A.R. Labs that he is stepping back from leading their operations and will no longer be directing their activities. He later trains Nora along the riverfront, helping her practice controlled use of her speed. Nora subsequently tells Barry and Iris that she wants to help people, and Iris establishes conditions for Nora’s involvement, which the family agrees upon. Iris proposes the codename "X.S." for Nora, which she accepts. Separately, Leonard “Lenny” Bobbins attempts to rob a Central City bank, but Barry, as the Flash, intervenes and apprehends him without injury. In the closing scene, Barry stands on a rooftop overlooking Central City before running off as the Flash.

Following the broadcast of Season 9, speculation grew about the future of The Flash due to its status as the final ongoing Arrowverse series. In interviews during early 2024, showrunner Eric Wallace confirmed the development of a new chapter focused on generational legacy. In July 2024, The CW renewed the series for a tenth season.

Filming began in October 2024 in Vancouver and concluded in early March 2025. Writers Thomas Pound, Lauren Fields, and Emily Palizzi returned to script individual arcs, while Danielle Panabaker directed multiple episodes including the midseason entry and penultimate chapter.

To re-energize the series, Season 10 introduces new Rogues and deepens the mythos surrounding the Speed Force. The writing team focused on integrating more serialized tension and thematic closure for legacy characters.

Notable new additions include Giancarlo Esposito as Silas Marr, a rogue meta-tech tactician destabilizing Central City's infrastructure, and Anya Chalotra as Lyra Allen, a speedster with unknown ties to the West-Allen bloodline. Both characters represent evolving threats and family mysteries central to Bart's growth.
