World of X – Part One is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Squared Media content from YouTube. Produced by Mob Productions and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is intended to be the 6th film in the Minecraft Cinematic Universe (MCCU). The film will be directed by Jackson Miller and written by Ehren Kruger and Freddie Goodwin.
In 2019, it was announced that Mob Productions was working on multiple films based on Minecraft. In 2020, a film that was confirmed to be focusing on the character Herobrine was in development. Months later, it was revealed to be about the Legion of Herobrine, a fictional villainous team set around the group that works with Herobrine.
World of X – Part One is scheduled to be released in the United States on June 9, 2025.
