Modern Ops 2 is set in 2026, three years after the events of ShooterofIO 1: Modern Ops (2023), and follows the return of global special operations unit Task Force Orion as they pursue the elusive war criminal Anton Sokol, now presumed to be orchestrating mass destabilization efforts across Eastern Europe and the Middle East. With a new wave of coordinated attacks threatening to ignite international conflict, Orion must operate outside official channels to dismantle the revived paramilitary network known as Black Larch before a second Zeront crisis is unleashed.
