ShooterofIO 3 is a 2035 first-person shooter video game developed by ShooterofIO Studios and published by Monsteristic. It is the twentieth main installment in the ShooterofIO franchise, following ShooterofIO Echofront (2031) and the third entry in the series’ second phase. The game was released worldwide on September 19, 2035, for Windows, PlayStation 6, and Xbox Series Z.

Development on ShooterofIO 3 began in late 2031, immediately following the release of Echofront. The project was led by franchise director Ethan Keller and represents the largest cross-studio collaboration in ShooterofIO history, uniting teams from SOI Studios, Air Studios, War Games, and Supreme Studios under a single production framework. The game’s new IOCore 2.0 engine was co-developed with Mob Productions to achieve near-photorealistic lighting, neural animation blending, and enhanced world simulation for next-generation hardware. According to Keller, the goal was to “erase the line between campaign, multiplayer, and Zombies,” creating a unified experience that evolves in real time through seasonal expansions and world-state updates.

Upon release, ShooterofIO 3 received widespread critical acclaim, with reviewers praising its expansive campaign design, seamless integration between modes, and technical innovations powered by IOCore 2.0. Critics highlighted the AI fidelity, visual realism, and narrative cohesion as major series milestones, though some noted minor launch instability and progression complexity. The game achieved record-breaking sales for the franchise, surpassing 30 million units sold within its first 48 hours and over 110 million copies worldwide by mid-2036, making it the best-selling entry in the ShooterofIO series.
