The 2065 IDF World Championship was a professional darts tournament organized by the International Darts Federation (IDF), held at the iconic Alexandra Palace in London from 14–17 January 2065. It was the 43rd edition of the championship, featuring 16 of the world’s top players who qualified through the IDF Order of Merit.
Ethan Steel entered the tournament aiming to secure his record-breaking 17th world title, which would see him surpass the legendary Phil Taylor’s record of 16 titles. Steel showcased his class and determination, delivering consistent high averages and clinical finishing throughout the event. In the final, he defeated Ryan Caldwell 11–6, achieving his 17th world title and cementing his status as the greatest player of all time.
