ShooterofIO 1: Modern Ops is an upcoming first-person shooter video game developed by War Games, and published by Monsteristic. It will be the first installment in the ShooterofIO franchise. The game is scheduled to be released on October 24, 2025, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

Development

ShooterofIO 1: Modern Ops was announced in June 2023 and was originally planned to be released in 2024, however due to development issues, it was delayed. In its place, Monsteristic had stated that Air Studios' game, ShooterofIO: Dark Warfare, that had already been announced, would take its place. In March 2025, it was announced that SOI Studios game will release in 2025 and Air Studios' game in 2026.

Marketing

In August 2024, Monsteristic announced that SOI Studios is working on a game. By September 2024, SOI Studios released two blog posts revealing their plans to begin marketing in early 2025. In March 2025, it was confirmed that the worldwide reveal for ShooterofIO 1: Modern Ops is scheduled to happen on May 15, 2025.
