ShooterofIO: Modern Ops 2 is an upcoming first-person shooter game developed by SOI Studios and published by Mob Productions. It will be the third installment in the ShooterofIO series and a sequel to ShooterofIO 1: Modern Ops (2023). Announced on January 27, 2025.

ShooterofIO: Modern Ops 2 is scheduled to be released on November 3, 2025 for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S.

Gameplay

Just like its predecessor, Modern Ops 2 will be a first-person shooter video game featuring three different modes. Unlike the original game, Modern Ops 2 features a seperate Cooperative mode called "Missions" alongside the traditional Campaign experience and Multiplayer experience.

Development

The game was officially announced on January 27, 2025 and was confirmed to be releasing in November 2025.

SOI Studios said they were interested in developing a sequel to Modern Ops if it was successful. By March 2025, SOI Studios said the game is set to be released on November 3, 2025 and will be pubically revealed "sooner rather than later".

Marketing

Modern Ops 2 was announced to be revealed in full at the "ShooterofIO NEXT" Event confirmed to be held on May 15, 2025 exploring the three modes of the game.
