ShooterofIO: Dark Warfare II is an upcoming first-person shooter game developed by Air Studios and published by Mob Productions. It is the fifth installment of the ShooterofIO series and is the second main entry in the Dark Warfare sub-series, a direct sequel to ShooterofIO: Dark Warfare (2024). Dark Warfare II is scheduled for release in 2026, for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S.

Leaks and development

Following the release of ShooterofIO: Dark Warfare (2024), the series’ long-term plans shifted when Mob Productions assumed full publishing control of the franchise, replacing Monsteristic, which had overseen publication of the original Dark Warfare title. On June 17, 2025, the leaker “Pine@pple Leaks” reported that the next premium ShooterofIO installment would include a substantial amount of content, while noting that it would not match the scale of the first game. He also claimed to have discovered references within internal files indicating an all-new cooperative version of Zombies, describing it as featuring the series’ “largest map ever” and incorporating “advanced systems.”
