Season chronology

The second season of the American action and adventure television series Zombies, which is inspired by the Call of Duty mode of the same name, premiered on YouTube on October 9, 2031.

The season follows the newly formed Elysium Initiative—led by Amira Holt, Elias Byrne, Dorian, and later Niko and Lyra—as they investigate a resurgence of Aetheric phenomena rooted in ancient mythology. Their journey spans from the sunken Sanctum of Erebos to the fiery Temple of Helios, where divine relics awaken and forgotten gods begin to stir. As they uncover temples devoted to the sea goddess Thalassa and the cursed guardian Medusa, the team learns that the Fold’s collapse has reawakened primordial deities seeking to reshape existence. The discovery of the Chrono-Sanctum of Mnemosyne exposes the truth—that time, memory, and divinity are cyclic, and that every era of humanity is a reflection of a prior one. When Elias sacrifices himself to stabilize collapsing realities, the survivors face Nyx, goddess of night, whose Veil blurs dreams and death. As Dorian’s divine transformation accelerates, the lines between mortal and god begin to dissolve. Elias later returns as the Revenant King, revealing that Medusa now transcends death itself, heralding the Eclipse of Gods. In a final confrontation at the Crown of Medusa, Dorian merges divine and mortal essence to end the cycle, destroying both Elysium and Richtofen Prime while restoring balance to the world. As reality stabilizes and the auroras fade, a crimson star flickers above the horizon—signaling that Elysium’s story, and humanity’s reckoning with the divine, may not yet be over.
