Summary
Semi-finals
The first semi-final was contested between Lukas Parker and reigning world champion Logan White. In the build-up to the match, White was widely regarded as the favourite to progress to the final, having won the 2026 World Championship earlier in the season. Parker was consequently considered the underdog, with several pre-match predictions suggesting that White's experience and recent form would prove decisive. The match ultimately developed into a closely contested encounter and was subsequently described as one of the most remarkable semi-finals of the 2026 Premier League season.

White made the stronger start, immediately breaking Parker's throw before holding in the second leg to establish a 2–0 advantage. He then narrowly missed a 152 checkout which would have extended his lead to three legs. Parker responded by completing a 100 checkout and began to reduce the deficit. In the fifth leg, he produced the first major highlight of the match, completing a maximum 170 checkout at the end of a 12-dart leg to move within one at 3–2. White recovered to win the following leg, sending the match into the interval level at 3–3.

Following the break, Parker significantly increased his scoring pace and won consecutive legs in ten darts to move 5–3 ahead. White struggled to match Parker's finishing during this period, while Parker continued to take advantage of missed opportunities from the world champion. Parker won a further three legs without reply, completing a run of five consecutive legs to establish an 8–3 lead and move to within two legs of the final.

White then produced a sustained comeback. After stopping Parker's run, he won four consecutive legs to reduce the deficit to 8–7. His recovery placed considerable pressure on Parker and appeared to shift the momentum of the match, with White threatening to complete one of the largest comebacks of the tournament. Parker, however, regained control in the closing stages. He won the 16th leg to move one away from victory before completing a 10–7 win in the following leg. Parker's victory eliminated the reigning world champion and secured his place in the Premier League final. The match was praised for its rapid scoring, high finishes and substantial changes in momentum, particularly Parker's five-leg run after the interval and White's subsequent four-leg comeback. Following the match, Parker described the result as a "vital win" and stated that his focus had shifted towards winning the title. He also praised White's performance and wider achievements, describing him as "amazing" and stating that he should be "proud of his achievements in the sport of darts". Parker additionally thanked the crowd for supporting both players throughout the match.

The second semi-final was contested between Alex Brow and Max Mad. In contrast to the opening semi-final, the match was largely controlled by Brow, whose performance was described as one of his most dominant of the season. Brow began the match at a high standard and narrowly missed a nine-dart finish during the opening stages. Despite failing to complete the perfect leg, he maintained control of the contest through consistent scoring and clinical finishing. Brow won each of the opening six legs to establish a 6–0 lead at the interval, leaving Mad without a leg despite several opportunities to reduce the deficit.  Mad improved significantly after the break and began to take advantage of a temporary decline in Brow's scoring. He won four consecutive legs to reduce the deficit to 6–4, briefly raising the possibility of a comeback similar to White's recovery in the earlier semi-final. Brow responded before Mad could move any closer, regaining his scoring rhythm and control of the finishing exchanges. Brow won the remaining four legs without reply, ending Mad's comeback and completing a convincing 10–4 victory. The result secured Brow's place in the final against Parker. Brow's six-leg opening run and four-leg finish meant that he won ten of the match's fourteen legs, with Mad's entire contribution coming during a four-leg sequence immediately after the interval. The victory was regarded as one of Brow's strongest performances in the 2026 Premier League, particularly because of his dominant start and his response after Mad had reduced the deficit. Brow's progression also set up a final against Parker, with both finalists having defeated former major champions in their respective semi-final matches.

Final
The Premier League final between Alex Brow and Lukas Parker was played immediately after the conclusion of the two semi-finals. Parker won the pre-match bull and elected to throw first, using the advantage to hold in each of his opening two visits to the oche and establish a 2–1 lead.

The opening stages remained closely contested, with both players regularly completing legs in 14 or 15 darts. Neither was initially able to create a significant advantage, and the pair continued to exchange holds of throw. Parker eventually gained control of the match, producing a sustained run of scoring and finishing to move into an 8–4 lead. During this period, play was interrupted for approximately two minutes after the point of one of Brow's darts snapped. Following the delay, Brow produced a substantial recovery, completing consecutive checkouts of 170, 160 and 167 to reduce Parker's advantage to 8–7. The sequence included three of the highest possible and near-maximum finishes and returned Brow to within one leg of his opponent. Parker responded by winning the next two legs to move 10–7 ahead and within one leg of the title. Brow, however, prevented Parker from closing out the match. He completed his second 170 checkout of the final before breaking Parker's throw in the following leg. Brow then won the 20th leg to level the match at 10–10 and force a deciding leg.

The top four players after 16 nights advance to the play-offs.
Brow won the final leg to complete an 11–10 victory and successfully defend his Premier League title. Parker recorded the higher three-dart average, finishing with 110.26 compared with Brow's 106.53, but Brow's finishing at decisive moments ultimately proved critical. The result was regarded as an example of the importance of timing and match play, with Brow winning despite being outscored statistically across much of the contest. Following the trophy presentation, Brow described the final as the most difficult match of his career. He praised Parker's "immense talent" and predicted that Parker would "one thousand percent win titles" in the future. Parker said that he was "absolutely torn" by the defeat, stating that he believed he had produced the best darts of his career but had still been unable to secure the title. He praised Brow's ability to find ways to win under pressure and said that Brow had once again demonstrated that quality in the deciding stages. Parker also vowed to continue his rivalry with Brow in future competitions.

The 2026 Premier League Darts (known for sponsorship reasons as the 2026 Volterra Energy Premier League) was a professional darts tournament organized by the International Darts Federation (IDF), and is the 3rd edition of the Premier League since its establishment. The tournament features eight of the top-ranked and most popular darts players, competing across 16 nights in a knockout format with a league-based points system.

The tournament began in February 2026 and concluded with the Playoffs in May 2026. Alex Brow was defending champion having defeated Logan White 11–8 in the 2025 final. Max Mad, Harrison Lewis, Zion Carter, Mason Owens, and Lukas Parker are making their Premier League debuts. Brow successfully defended his title by defeating Lukas Parker 11–10 in the final.

Overview[edit | edit source]

Background[edit | edit source]

2026 Premier League Darts is the 3rd edition of the tournament to be staged by the International Darts Federation (IDF) since the inaugural event in 2024. The inaugural event was played in venues across the United Kingdom and was won by Duncan MacLeod, who defeated Niko Brant 11–6 in the final. The tournament has expanded outside of the United Kingdom, with nights held in Germany, the Netherlands and Ireland, as well as Belgium from 2026 onward.

The 2026 Premier League is taking place from 5 February to 28 May 2026. Sportsbook BetMGM continued its sponsorship of the event after becoming title sponsor in 2024. Alex Brow entered the tournament as defending champion after defeating Logan White 11–8 in the 2025 final to win his first Premier League title.

Format[edit | edit source]

The 2026 Premier League uses the same format that was introduced for the inaugural edition. It remains an eight-person knockout bracket every Friday night. The players are guaranteed to meet each other once in the quarter-finals throughout the first seven weeks, and once in the quarter-finals in weeks 9–15, with weeks 8 and 16 being drawn based on the league standings at that point. Players receive two points per semi-final finish, three points per runner-up finish, and five points per final win. Following the league phase, the top four players in the table contest the two play-off semi-finals with 1st playing 4th and 2nd playing 3rd, where the winners progress to the Premier League final.

All matches are played in leg format, with the number of legs required to win increasing as the tournament progresses:

 • League stage: Best of 11 legs
 • Semi-finals: Best of 19 legs
 • Final: Best of 21 legs

Summary[edit | edit source]

Semi-finals[edit | edit source]

Logan White (pictured in 2026) was the heavy favorite to win the 2026 Premier League.

Final[edit | edit source]

Alex Brow won his second Premier League title.
