The Zerra Halo 14 is a flagship smartphone developed and marketed by Zerra Technologies as part of the Zerra Halo line’s fourteenth generation. It was announced on October 10, 2023, alongside the higher-end Halo 14 Pro and Pro Max, and released later that month.[1]

History[edit | edit source]

Zerra presented the Halo 14 as a refinement year, focusing on endurance and polish rather than major design overhauls. It succeeded the Zerra Halo 13 and retained the flat-edged design language, while upgrading cameras, display, and battery efficiency. It shipped with ZerraOS 13 and received ZerraOS 15 in mid-2025.

Design[edit | edit source]

The Halo 14 features a ceramic-aluminum frame with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on both sides. Its design closely follows the Halo 13 but with slimmer bezels and flatter edges. The phone introduced a new Frost Gray color finish alongside standard Obsidian, Ice Blue, and Rose Quartz. It maintains IP68 resistance and a centered punch-hole camera design.

Specifications[edit | edit source]

Hardware[edit | edit source]

The device uses the Z-Core Quantum+ chipset, offering improved GPU and AI processing compared to the Halo 13’s Z-Core Quantum. Paired with 8 GB RAM and up to 1 TB of storage, it delivered performance gains while enhancing battery endurance. The 4,500 mAh battery provided up to 20% longer life than the Halo 13.

Display[edit | edit source]

The Halo 14 features a 6.4 in (163 mm) Eclipse Infinity OLED display with 2520×1170 resolution and ProMotion adaptive 120 Hz refresh. HDR10+ support was expanded with higher peak brightness levels for outdoor use.

Cameras[edit | edit source]

The rear triple-camera system includes a 50 MP wide primary lens, 12 MP ultrawide, and 12 MP telephoto with 2× optical zoom. Zerra enhanced computational photography with NightVision+ and Smart Portrait mode, making it a step up from the Halo 13. The front camera remained 16 MP, with improvements in low-light performance.

Software[edit | edit source]

The Halo 14 shipped with ZerraOS 13, featuring redesigned widgets, improved privacy controls, and Zerra Share continuity. With ZerraOS 15, it gained Adaptive UI, Horizon AI enhancements, and improved Zerra Share syncing.

Reception[edit | edit source]

The Halo 14 was described by critics as a “refinement year,” praised for its slimmer bezels, battery gains, and polished camera performance. Reviewers noted the lack of dramatic changes compared to the Halo 13, but many welcomed the improved durability and longer endurance. Some criticism focused on its similarity to the previous generation, with many recommending the Pro models for users seeking bigger upgrades.
