The 2025 RedThrowz Masters is an ongoing professional darts tournament organized by the International Darts Federation (IDF), taking place at the Southern Arena in Adelaide, Australia, from 10 to 16 November 2025. It is the 17th edition of the RedThrowz Masters and one of the IDF’s premier set-play events. The total prize fund is $750,000, with the winner receiving $150,000.

The event is played in the "double in, double out" format, making it one of the most challenging tournaments on the IDF circuit. The 32-player field consists of the top 16 players on the IDF Order of Merit and the top 16 qualifiers from the IDF Tour standings. Defending champion Elias Storm entered the event as the world number one, while Alex Brow—the 2024 runner-up—arrived as the No. 2 seed following his victories at the 2025 Global Open and Pacific Darts Masters.

The 2025 tournament is being held at the Southern Arena in Adelaide, Australia.

Since its establishment in 2009, the RedThrowz Masters has grown into one of the most prestigious tournaments in the darts calendar. The “double in, double out” format has remained a defining feature, rewarding accuracy and composure from the very first dart. The event was previously held in Melbourne and Sydney before finding a permanent home at the Southern Arena in Adelaide in 2023, which seats over 9,000 spectators.

The 2024 champion Elias Storm defeated Alex Brow 6–4 in a dramatic final, hitting a record-breaking 12 maximums. Heading into the 2025 edition, Storm aimed to become the first player since Theo Bartlett (2017–2018) to defend the Masters title, while Brow sought redemption after a season highlighted by consistency and high averages on the IDF circuit.

Format[edit | edit source]

The 32 players are divided between 16 seeded players (from the IDF Order of Merit) and 16 qualifiers (from the IDF Tour). All matches are played in set format, with each set being the best of five legs (first to three). Players must start and finish each leg on a double or the bullseye.

Summary[edit | edit source]

First round[edit | edit source]

The opening round was played on 10 and 11 November 2025. World number one Elias Storm began his title defense with a convincing 2–0 victory over Rico Sanders, averaging 97.15. Seed No. 2 Alex Brow dominated his opener, defeating debutant Leo Tranter 2–0 with a 104.23 average and a 170 checkout in the deciding leg. Brow’s clinical doubling and fast rhythm drew comparisons to his 2025 Global Open form.

Theo Bartlett edged past Ryan Cade in a tight 2–1 thriller, while Zane Holloway came from behind to beat Tyrone Clay 2–1 after surviving three match darts. Felix Stone produced the first shock of the tournament, whitewashing Rhys Morton 2–0 with a 98.67 average.

Dean Lasko hit the first nine-darter of the competition in his 2–1 loss to Ronan Kerr, while Noah Wilde defeated Benji Marlow 2–0, securing his place in the second round for the first time in his career.

Second round[edit | edit source]

The second round saw multiple top seeds eliminated. Theo Bartlett fell 3–2 to Julian Marek, while Blake Navarro exited after a 3–1 defeat to Shawn Price. Alex Brow continued his strong run, defeating Victor Renner 3–0 in under 22 minutes with a 103.05 average, the highest of the round. Defending champion Elias Storm advanced 3–1 over Jack Lancer in a scrappy affair dominated by missed doubles.

Quarter-finals[edit | edit source]

Alex Brow met Felix Stone in an all-Australian quarter-final, winning 4–2 in front of a packed home crowd. Brow averaged 101.22 with five 180s and a 52% double success rate. Elias Storm overcame Julian Marek 4–3 in a tense final-leg decider to stay on course for a title defense. Zane Holloway defeated Shawn Price 4–1, while Noah Wilde stunned Ronan Kerr 4–2 to reach his first major semi-final.

Semi-finals[edit | edit source]

In a highly anticipated clash, Alex Brow faced Zane Holloway, the 2025 World Champion. Brow stormed into a 3–0 lead, hitting a 170 finish and averaging 106 across the first three sets. Despite a late fightback from Holloway, Brow closed out the match 5–3, securing his second consecutive Masters final. Elias Storm survived a scare against Noah Wilde, winning 5–4 after trailing 4–2, setting up a rematch of the 2024 final.

Final[edit | edit source]

The final is scheduled for 16 November 2025, featuring a repeat of last year’s showdown between Elias Storm and Alex Brow. The two top-ranked players meet again for the $150,000 title in what is billed as one of the most anticipated finals in IDF history.
