The 2025 IDF World Grand Prix is an upcoming darts tournament and the first staging of the World Grand Prix. It will take place from 24–26 August 2025 at the Mattioli Arena in Leicester, England.

Format

All matches are played in a double in, double out format, requiring players to start and finish each leg on a double or the bullseye. Matches are played to a set format, with each set being the best of five legs (first to three).

Qualification

The 32-player field consists of the top 32 players on the IDF Order of Merit, with the top eight seeded. The field was confirmed on 18 August 2025.

Summary

First round

The opening day of the 2025 IDF World Grand Prix saw the top seeds dominate, with all of the top eight advancing to the second round. World number one Max Mad opened the tournament with a confident 2–0 victory over Parker Reeves, averaging 96.7.

Seed No. 2 Alex Brow began his campaign in emphatic fashion, defeating debutant Zion Carter 2–0 in just 14 minutes. Brow landed a 170 checkout to clinch the first set and averaged 101.3 overall, setting the tone for his title challenge.

Elsewhere, Blake Carter and Ryan Thomas both advanced in straight sets, while Caleb Daniels upset 16th seed Zane Adams 2–1 with a composed display. Rising prospect Toby Underwood continued his impressive 2025 form with a 2–1 comeback against Kai Mitchell, and Logan White powered past Wesley Adams 2–0 in a clinical display.

The match of the round saw Nate Parker edge out Spencer Taylor 2–1 in a tight contest featuring six 180s and a 142 checkout in the deciding set. Defending Masters champion Mason Owens also moved through with a hard-fought 2–1 win over Isaac Johnson, setting up a potential quarter-final clash with Alex Brow later in the tournament.

Second round

The second round saw the quality of play rise sharply. Top seed Max Mad continued his fine form, defeating Caleb Daniels 3–1 with a 101.5 average. Nate Parker produced one of his best televised performances to edge Aiden Brooks 3–2 in a match that went the distance, hitting an 11-dart leg in the decider.

Ryan Thomas booked his quarter-final place after surviving a late fightback from Quinn Sanders, closing out the match 3–2 with a ton-plus checkout. Blake Carter impressed in his 3–1 victory over Victor Vaughn, averaging 99 and maintaining 45 percent on doubles.

Third seed Lukas Parker eased past Nathan Reeves 3–0, while Logan White swept aside Toby Underwood 3–1 to join him. In one of the closest matches of the night, Mason Owens narrowly beat Owen Quinn 3–2 in a tense contest decided by a final-leg 108 checkout.

The night ended with another dominant showing from Alex Brow, who dispatched Xander Young 3–0 in ruthless fashion. Brow averaged 104.7, recording the highest three-dart average of the round and finishing the match with a spectacular 164 checkout. The win extended his streak of winning eight consecutive televised sets without defeat.

Quarter-finals

The quarter-finals featured the strongest lineup of the tournament so far. World number one Max Mad survived a scare against Nate Parker, eventually winning 3–2 in a gripping final set. Parker led 2–1 but missed two match darts in the decider as Mad punished with a 116 checkout.

Ryan Thomas stunned fourth seed Blake Carter 3–1 in a composed performance, marking his first-ever semi-final at a major IDF event. Lukas Parker maintained his consistency with a 3–1 win over Logan White, producing a 98.2 average and five 180s.

The headline tie saw Alex Brow and Mason Owens collide in a rematch of the 2025 RedThrowz Masters semi-final. Brow stormed into a 2–0 lead with legs of 13, 12, and 14 darts, before Owens clawed back the third set. In the fourth, Brow closed out the contest 3–1 with a 105.8 average and a 156 checkout, sealing a semi-final showdown with Ryan Thomas.
