The 2025 IDF Players Championship Finals was a professional darts tournament that took place from 21 to 23 November 2025 at Butlin's Minehead in Minehead, England. Organised by the International Darts Federation (IDF), it was the inaugural edition of the IDF Players Championship Finals and formed part of the 2025 IDF ranking calendar.

The tournament featured the top 64 players from the 2025 IDF Players Championship Order of Merit, which was based on results from non-televised floor events held across the season. The event was played in a legs format and was designed as the season-ending championship for the IDF floor circuit.

Logan White won the title, defeating Kai Mitchell 11–9 in the final. It was White's second major televised title of the season after the 2025 IDF Super Series Finals and came shortly before his victory at the 2026 IDF World Darts Championship. White also recorded the highest checkout of the tournament, a 167 finish in his semi-final victory over Mason Owens.

Alex Brow, the reigning world champion, reached the quarter-finals before losing to Mitchell. Max Mad was beaten by Owens in the quarter-finals, while Elias Storm lost to White in the semi-finals. The tournament was notable for several matches in which the winner averaged lower than the loser, reflecting the importance of doubling and timing in short-format leg play.

Overview[edit | edit source]

Background[edit | edit source]

The IDF Players Championship Finals was introduced as the televised conclusion to the Players Championship circuit. The circuit consisted of a series of floor tournaments held throughout 2025, with prize money earned in those events contributing to the Players Championship Order of Merit.

The Finals were created to give the leading floor-event performers a major televised title and to provide an additional ranking event before the World Championship. The tournament was placed in late November, after the 2025 IDF Grand Slam of Darts and before the start of the 2026 IDF World Darts Championship.

The inaugural edition carried a prize fund of $600,000, matching the 2025 IDF European Championship and 2025 IDF World Grand Prix. The IDF promoted the event as a major test of depth because the field was determined by performance across the full floor season rather than by invitation.

Venue[edit | edit source]

The tournament was staged at Butlin's Minehead in Minehead, England. The venue was selected because of its capacity for multi-session darts events and its suitability for a large 64-player field across three days.

Format[edit | edit source]

The tournament featured 64 players in a straight knockout format. The draw was based on the final Players Championship Order of Merit, with the first seed playing the 64th seed, the second seed playing the 63rd seed, and so on.

All matches were played in legs. The first three rounds were played in shorter formats, while the final stages used longer matches.

Aftermath[edit | edit source]

White's victory confirmed his late-season rise and gave him another major title before the World Championship. The win strengthened his position near the top of the IDF Order of Merit and added to his reputation as one of the best players in long-format leg matches.

Mitchell's run to the final was also significant. He defeated Brow and Bartlett despite being out-averaged in both matches, with his finishing and timing proving decisive. Owens' victory over Mad was another major result, while Bartlett's semi-final finish reinforced his position as one of the strongest younger players on the circuit.
